  • (I got measured before my first treatment and after it, but the difference was the lady told me to hold my arms up for the second measuring as if I didnt know what she was doing and when I mentioned it she pulled the tape measure slightly tight form before and way hey I appently lost an inch, amazing.)

For all the measurements you had you should of been putting your arms up and touching your head. That is the way our trainers have taught the trainies how to measure accuratly.
With the treatment, you have to do 30 mins of cardio exercise withing the first 12 hours of having a treatment done, also you have to keep a healthy diet going at the same time.

( Hi i just had 6 sessions with strawberry laser and lost 8 inches in all and it seems to have stayed off i did keep up with exercise but didnt diet that well. LighterYou weight loss retreats are giving all guest 2 free treatments worth £290 for everyone that books one week stay)
Ayanda who posted this comment is one of the twin of 'The Biggest Loser'. We have had comments back from them that they are very happy with the results.
If you haven't had the treatment, you should think about trying it instead of critisising it as not having it done!!

So all you really need is exercise and a healthy diet then?

You really do make me laugh. Has the laser destroyed part of your brain?

P.S. Any comments on the very informative post above from fight4justice? Or is it all a bit technical for you?
  • :rotfl:Let’s cut the crap! ..You have plagiarised someone else’s statement and made it your own and ‘Bored’ you fell for it!

Your ignorance is exacerbated as the article talks about the Zerona machine which is an inferior machine to the strawberry comparing a Ford Fiesta to a Porsche.

The strawberry has 4-10 paddles that lay against target area where the Zerona hangs like a spider over the patient. The strawberry output is 660nm not 635.

The treatment does work, but there are varying results. My mate dropped down a waist size after 4 sessions. I went down a waist size after 7.

The client needs to be committed to exercise and healthy eating to see rapid results. There are other formalities but can’t be bothered to mention them. Like most people who fail to lose weight, they don’t stick to the protocols so can hardly moan when it fails to work!

Wow, so all I need is a healthy diet AND exercise AND the laser treatment and I will lose weight?

Hang on.... I think I have heard of a revolutionary weight loss scheme that only involves two of those elements, can't remember WHICH two though.

Thank you so much for registering this month to make that wonderful first post.

    Like you say...

    Cut the crap, eh?

Ok further explaination is required. The laser instantly liquifies the fat out of the fat cells and can be used as available energy, consequenlty for the rest of the day the person needs to eat healthily (in this case little to no carbs and fats) and excercise to see the benefit. If the client doesn't do this the fat is restored back to the fat cell.

After the treatment(s) general healthier eating and regular excercise is needed to maintain the weight loss. It wins over fab diets etc as these tend to be a water loss excercise than a fat loss excercise. So weight gain is returned as quick as it is lost.

Where failure occurs is when the person ignores the advise to do the excercise on the day of the treatment or eat healthily for the rest of the day.

Naturally, if the individual returns to their normal unhealthy eating habits the fat will be reintroduced to the fat cells.so they are wasting their money.
  • I'm new to this site but was looking round the net for reviews on strawberry laser lipo, as I'm having this done next week. Every site I've looked at reviews are mixed some say it works some say not (however I'm now skeptical). I am booked for three sessions but will post back next Thursday after my first. I've taken into account all the posts here so will check for how I'm measured before and after (I'm being measured for a bridesmaid dress the day before so will know my true measurements). I'm a size 10 so not particularly large but do have some lardy bits so I may see some difference. I will also stick to the diet and exercise advice. Let's see how it goes!

See I get it now. All you have to do is follow a low fat diet, exercise regular AND get your laser lipo.

So you are thinking that INSTEAD of a healthy diet and exercise you could lose inches you are, well the company themselves say it above ^^
  • I've literally just signed up and this is my first post. I'm always looking for a quick fix. I'm a succer. I have booked a course of six sessions. My first is due on Tuesday (13th Sep) and 2nd on Thurs (15th). I'm very disappointd that all the people tat have said they'll post back haven't. I'm hoping its because they're out flaunting their new look! Optimism helps! I'm promising to come back and report after my 2nd treatment. I have been doing the "diet chef" programme which has helped me lose weight steadily over the last couple of months. I got a cheap deal on QVC but not seen it since.
    PLEASE GOD LET IT WORK!!!
  • im a size 12 5`6 and not really overweight but just like most women i wanted to tone up my thigh area ive been going to the gym for years and im quite fit and healthy, try to eat clean but nothing would work on this area. So when i saw a groupon for i-lipo it seemed to be the ideal solution to target my problem so i bought 6 sessions of i-lipo, i researched but couldnt find any real independent reviews so i just went ahead after lots of reassurances from the team that there were no side effects and that they can target my problem area. I went to my first treatment they put 6 paddles on the sides of my legs and there was a warming sensation i was measured before and after and was told i`d lost an inch. As with many other people im abit skeptical about the measurements...anyway i had to do 30 mins exercise which i did on the treadmill when i got home but within a few hours i noticed a swollen area on my inner thigh ( i had my outer thighs treated and was asked to turn over and lie on my stomach). The swollen area is still there its been 7 weeks since my first treatment and because of that i didnt go for a second treatment, both inner thighs had swelling and it feels like soft blob of fat or water. I have to say the area that was targeted did look better so it may have helped with the appearance of cellulite but all i think it did was redistribute the fat or water and because im quite fit /slim its quite apparent where it travelled to. I have also read on another website this is infact what it does because theres only so much fat that can be used as energy or drained via lympatic system which is what this type of laser claims to do with the fat. Im going to see if i can find that and post the link on here. I would really be interested to see if anyone else has had any kind of reaction/improvement etc to the i-lipo.
  • Im not a new member. i have been on this forum for quite some time. just dont post that much. read the replies of people.

but i read this thread back to back and i am still interested in the treatment, but bit worried now. at first i wanted to spend at least a grand for this, but now that i have read some of your comments, i might just have 3/4 sessions and see if i lose anything. if i dont, i wont bother with it anymore.
but thanks for the review in general. it was an eye opener.
