Anyone had Strawberry Laser Lipo?

  • I can vouch that it definitely worked for me! I bought 3 sessions for £112 through the Groupon London deal in October and had all the sessions within a few days of each other. It's been a couple of weeks now and the results are still the same. I am really happy with the results as my problem has troubled me for absolute years. But as it was only 3 sessions, I'm looking out for other deals as I would love to have a few more as the area could be improved further (they suggest 8 sessions as a complete treatment length).

It is true though that the ideal candidate should not be very overweight and I think it's ideal for spot reduction which we all know isn't possible by simply dieting and excercise. Considering the treatment was completely pain-free, unlike trad. lipo, is another reason I sing it's praises and for me, this was a miracle solution. Sounds too good to be true, but it is!

KGB are doing a deal at the moment 3 seesions for £49 only 4 days left on it tho but you can buy multiple vouchers, ive been wanting to get it but im in two minds whether it would work, im a healthy 5"0 and size 10, but after having my first child ive gained just over 2 stone and i can not shift it !! i love my new curve i love my tiny waist but i want to trim down my thighs, as they are creeping up to a 12 and im an 8 on top... before my daughter i was a size 6/8
can anyone advise me if the treatment would be worth while for me, just losing 2 inch would be amazing
  • When I was first looking at having this done, I couldn't find a review that gave a clear experience so here is my story so far....
I managed to get a deal they were running at my local Strawberry clinic £400 for 8 sessions, as I had previously been quoted £750 I thought this was the best offer I was going to get so booked straight away.

Today was my first visit I had a 9 o'clock appointment and was told not to drink or eat for an hour before the visit. The lady was full of information about the procedure and also advised me to wear my Bridget Jones knickers as these help keep the lymph pads in place.

So with my Bridget Jone's all ready to go and an emergency bikini wax completed I arrived and met by a very nice lady who explained the procedure again. She measured in three areas, drawing on my skin so that should could match up the tape lines after the procedure and then strapped the laser belt round me. It didn't hurt at all, the only thing that was hurt was a little bit of my pride as I had stood there with my ample gut hanging out!

After the procedure I went to the gym across the corridor and did an hour on the bike. The gym membership is valid for the month whilst I have the procedures. (If all else fails at least I got my lasy !!! to the gym! )

    So day 1 facts..

    - After the session the lady measured me again and said that I had lost a combined total of 3 inches. This was made up of 2 inches from one area of my stomach and a 1/2 inch from the top and bottom of my stomach. However when she took the first measurement the tape was loose and I had measured myself (in 3 places) before I went so I new that the centre measurement she had noted was already 2 inches out.

Since I've been home I've been to the toilet about 10 times so fingers crossed I will notice something tomorrow. I have visits booked for 2 days a week, my next visit is on Saturday so I will update again.

    Wow! So many new posters...

But at least they are split in opinions......
  • Second session complete

I had my second session on Saturday but I only lost an inch apparently. However according to my own measurements I have only lost 1/2 and inch in the three sections of my stomach.

I don't think it helped that after my session I did the gym and then straight out for a night on the lash. Although the lady didn't say to me that I couldn't drink etc... I have read it on other posts. She told me just to avoid tea and coffee and to drink loads of water, which i have.

Anyway third session is booked for Wednesday so fingers crossed this on will go well.
  • Hi all, I carried out a lot of research before buying one for our salon, it DOES work, and very well. Although there are many things you have to remember before taking it up.
If you are putting on weight prior to the treatment and change nothing with regard to your fitness and eating habits then the inches will return!
However we have treated very fit ladies with excess fat from pregnancy with frankly amazing results, also anyone who has the treatment then uses the fitness facilities straight after achieves greater results as the fat does not miraculously disappear, it is fact spilt into the lymphatic system and needs to burnt off with increased heart rate.
With the correct exercises and diet as much as 4 inches has been lost overall.
You MUST be in the correct frame of mind before spending money on these treatments and a good pre treatment consultation should be making you all aware of these factors!
Believe if you are ready for action this treatment is the best stepping stone to a newer body shape!
    Hope this helps guys.
Oh be careful of the offers for cheap initial treatments who then charge you heavily for the remaining sessions, ask first!
  • Ok it seems there is a lot of miss information about this treatment, for instance going to the toilet has no effect, you must increase the heart rate for at least 20 mins for every 10 mins of treatment, please ensure you are fully aware of all aspects and have realistic expectations!
Also treatment prices vary a lot and the £300-£350 mark for 8 sessions is a fair price! Shop around

All those people that said they'd post their results afterwards... and didn't lol
  • Hey all. I have been reading these posts for months as well as many other chat sites, I appreciate that this will be my first post but you guys are the ones that made me want to try it. I did my own research (as much that is possible on the Internet about it). The only salon that provides strawberry lipo in my area were offering a free trial, so I figured I'd give it a go. In the trial I lost .7 out of .8 to an inch. Bearing In mind this is the total loss from 3 areas waists tummy and hips. So I lost roughly .2 from each in a 10 minute session, usually they are 20 minutes. I decided to bite the bullet and paid for the treatment £600!!! I'm in my third week I have lost 1 inch from my waists 1.2 from my tummy and .7 from my hips. I'm happy with it but they have said it is quite a small loss in comparison to others (there salons record is 11 inches in 4 weeks).

The info I managed to gather is that strawberry lipo and ilipo are completely different. Strawberry lipo insists you have to do a minimum of 30 mins exercise after each session to sweat out the liquid from the fat that has been melted. If you don't sweat it out it will just solidify. The other ilipos make it sound like a miracle treatment that you don't need to put any effort into.

I feel much better about myself for doing the strawberry and hopefully my last week will be a big loss, but i don't have major amounts to lose just want to get rid of the stubborn bit! The strawberry lipo does work as long as you put in the work too. They guarenteed you will have a loss after each session and I have done so for me their claims are true. It is a lot of money and the ones on groupon tend to be the ilipo rather than strawberry.
The only irritating part is I have lines drawn on my stomach to ensure that she measures in the same place every time ... I get very odd looks on the gym changing rooms!
Hope this helps some of you make a decision on it. I am waiting for my before and after photos next week so will put them up of I remember!
    Good luck!
    Xxx
  • Hi all. I'm new to posting on here but have been a member of martins money tips for years and having been paying particular attention to posts about I-lipo given that I just bought a few sessions on groupon. They were £89 for three 20 min appointments, although the voucher said something completely different. Anyway... I've had two twenty minute sessions so far, one on Monday and one on weds. I've found the staff to be quite unknowledgable about the process and I agree that the measurements taken aren't accurate. The laser itself is so weak, it doesn't feel like it's doing anything. 4 plastic pads were propped up against my sides with a black belt, a bit like slendertone but not as effective! I can't tell any difference after 2 sessions and I've told the staff this. I have been going to the gym and eating three healthy meals a day. I'm not overweight so I'd expect if it was working that I'd be able to tell. I will report back after the 3rd session though.

I have a feeling that this is a scam, I'm unsure whether these companies are well established or whether they'll disappear shortly.

Id like to hear from anyone who thinks the same or has any proof these machines actually work!! :)
  • I suspect that Sharon1234 might possibly work or has some business dealings with the industry as all her postings pertain to Laserlipo. If Sharon1234 isn't - my apologies. If however she is .. shame on you :(
