Anyone had Strawberry Laser Lipo?

It's the Groupon deal today for Sheffield £112 for 3 treatments instead of £450.

I like the idea of it but do not want to waste money. Not many what I would call independant reviews out there.

Anyone got any info on it??

  • I've seen that offer too in Birmingham but can't find independant reviews. I called the salon where it's being offered and was told that you can see results from only one session..

My friend used to work for a place that offered laser lipo. She says that it does work however as soon as you have anything to eat/drink then the effect just disappears.

TBH a galvanic (cellulite) or foradic (muscle toning) treatment (basically high power slendertone pads) will give you better results although you need a few sessions.

I've been sent details on these lasers, and TBH, I've never been that impressed with the results.

Basically, if you're pretty skinny anyway, you might just notice a slight difference. If you're a bit of a bloater, like me, then you ain't going to gain much! :D
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.

Pretty much. Suppose it would be good for a special occasion or something.

I have seen excellent results with a foradic machine (I work in the beauty industry) however you need a couple sessions a week for a couple of months. Not many salons offer it either, at least not in my area anyway.

  • I got an offer from Living Social today on laser lipo loss of 6 sessions for £199. I have been tempted to get it as reduced mobility recently led to me gaining weight. Never heard of a foradic machine though so may look into that.

    Manchester Groupon today

Today’s deal: £75 instead of £250 for two sessions of non invasive fat reduction, as seen on Channel 4's Supersize versus Superskinny at Lipoloss UK - Save 70%

  • I bought an offer from Groupon for 4 sessions for £99 (instead of £500). At your first session only, they take a before and after measurement to 'show you that it's working' - however, the woman blatently didn't tighten the tape properly for the first set of measurements.

I was too embarrassed to say anything at the time :(

While it may work for a lucky few, it certainly didn't for me. Don't waste your money...
  • I can vouch that it definitely worked for me! I bought 3 sessions for £112 through the Groupon London deal in October and had all the sessions within a few days of each other. It's been a couple of weeks now and the results are still the same. I am really happy with the results as my problem has troubled me for absolute years. But as it was only 3 sessions, I'm looking out for other deals as I would love to have a few more as the area could be improved further (they suggest 8 sessions as a complete treatment length).

It is true though that the ideal candidate should not be very overweight and I think it's ideal for spot reduction which we all know isn't possible by simply dieting and excercise. Considering the treatment was completely pain-free, unlike trad. lipo, is another reason I sing it's praises and for me, this was a miracle solution. Sounds too good to be true, but it is!
