  • Hello,

I am a qualified Gym Instructor and a student studying health, and definately not trying to promote laserlipo. I am going for laser treatment on Monday so I will inform you all on how it goes!
  • there is a website called teacat its a uk website there is an offer that goes on today for four 30 min sessions of laser lipo for £159 instead of £420
  • I saw a Groupon deal yesterday offering 3 sessions for £72 at a B'ham clinic and saw this forum whilst searching for info. I too noticed that everyone claiming it works is a 1st time poster but as I'm going to give it a shot, thought I'd make myself known now, before I have any treatment! Not booked it yet but I'm not overweight (5'3" & just under 9 st)- just have a big fat belly (3 kids!) for which I'm prepared to risk losing £72 to get rid of...watch this space!!!

I've been reading this thread with interest as I've had quite a lot of strawberry laser lipo treatment now, both on my stomach area and my jowels. While it's not a silver bullet solution, I do think it works. I've lost nearly two inches from my stomach but more importantly, I can see the difference in the mirror, as well as how my clothes hang.

I always have the treatment on a gym night and do a bit more powerplate when I get there, as well as weights and cardio on the bike. What is most telling to me, is that while I hardly went to the gym from December to February due to snow, Christmas and moving house, I did not put all the weight back on, only a little. This confirms in my mind that the theory of permanently removing some fat cells over a course of treatment does work.

When I was a bit younger I would sometimes be at the gym every night, but I recall my stomach always carried weight. That was about 10 years ago and I only do the gym 2 or 3 times a week now. However, due to the Strawberry laser treatment, my stomach carries less fat then it ever did.

I went (and still go) to a small independant place and they often have promotions on, my original tester treament was only £20. If anyone wants their contact details please PM me if your within striking distance of the West Midlands area.
  • Well, I have tried a few session of ilipo or strawberry lipo etc (depends which manufacturer makes the machine on what they call the laser machine with pads).

This is my experience, some areas are easier to lose cms or inches with e.g. tummy and other areas may be harder e.g. thighs. Also I'm not convinced where this fat goes..I mean come on lasers claim to blast the fat and expel it where? into thin air?? I mean surgery is the only quick answer where the fat is sucked out! In my experience although the thigh mesaurement was slightly reduced after I noticed the fat moved elsewhere in the body, to another part of the thigh that was not measured.

This is what really happens -unless they physically measure every part of your body there is no guarantee you actually lost cms or inches in that area...in reality the fat just moved elsewhere in the body.

Or use the slower natural approach -i.e consume LESS FAT to start with and exercise not just when have these fast fix treatments but as part of your regular routine.

That saidm these may be a good idea for a quick boost...but quite frankly you could have a Body wrap and a few sessions at the gym, followed by vibra plates or flabelos or toning tables and still get the same result for a fraction of the price.
Now if a machine could get rid or reduce cellulite that would be good and worthwhile to investigate but inch loss...yeah just a temporary fix or illusion of distributing fat around the body...there are NO FACTS as nothing published in any credible scientific journals., though the manufacturers will print the opposite in their non controlled validated studies to sell the machines.

  • I would like to hear back from the above posters. In the news of the world it claims 7 inches in one session?! Its clear some posters here have their own interests. Im just confused, how can something be advertised if it doesnt work? Come on people what results have you had without exercise or changing diet etc?

I just read the same article in the News of the World and it does look promising....

"Gut News Lads" is the name of the article

Basically a plumber lost 7 inches off his beer belly Paul Carmichael 32 lost it under the watchful eye of the reporter Andrew Dagnell (page 41 NOTW - June 26th 201)

Paid £100 for the session. Before and After Pics taken by NOTW

It can remove up to SEVEN INCHES of fat in JUST ONE SESSION claims the report. It takes 20 MINUTES.

The doctors attach 2 x metal lazers to the belly which zap the fat cells. Fat is remove when you have a poo.

Note: This is for MEN so it may have a different effect on women. But men with beer guts - go for it!

PS: On Sunday the website must have gone into meltdown because I cant get access [googled: Strawberry Laser Liposuction] and I think so are a lot of others...

Has anyone got a link to any cheap deals? Thanks
  • I read the article in the News of the World yesterday and wanted to offer Laser Lipo at Revitalise in Brighton & Hove for a discounted price of £50, rather than £150.

We have been offering this therapy for 3 years and have seen some amazing inch loss.

Have a look at the Revitalise website in Brighton & Hove for some more information. I am not allowed to include the link, so search for "laser lipo revitalise brighton"

It's an amazing therapy and works on love handles, mummy tummies, Bingo wings, etc.. etc (anywhere where you have fatty deposits)

The therapist will also provide a full explanation as to where the fatty deposits go.

Just contact Revitalise (health@revitalise-u.co.uk) via the website if you would like to make a booking :)
