  • By the way..... we have seen over 1000 clients with Laser Lipo & over 90% have been women. Women generally get much better results then men...!! :)

I also saw the article in the NOTW and booked a treatment today.
I took my own measurements before going for the treatment and when I measured myself after, the measurement was exactly the same.
The clinic measured in 3 places and told me there was a 3 inch loss over these 3 places.
Its really not hard to lose 3 inches just by how tight the tape measure is pulled !
I was very careful indeed to make sure I measured myself accurately too.

I would say you would need to have an awful lot of treatments in order to see any loss at all and as they tell you to do at least 30 minutes of exercise and eat well too over this time your going to lose weight anyway.

I would love to meet the guy in the NOTW who allegedly lost 7 inches in one session as I couldn`t see any difference at all after I went !
They make it sound in the article like the results will be noticable after a single session... my experience couldn`t be any further from that !
  • Where did you have this done and what did you pay ?

Was it strawberry or standard laser ?

I went to a place locally in the Midlands and yes it was a Strawberry treatment.

I can honestly say hand on heart there has been no noticeable difference whatsover !

The way the NOTW described the product was as if it was like normal liposuction, as in you would lose the fat ( or the 7 inch claimed ) in one treatment.

I could not see any change whatsoever after, and having checked my own measurement in exactly the same place and knowing how tight the tape measure was, there was absolutely no difference at all.

I paid £135 for a single treatment and think you would need at least 8 to see any real change.
Baring in mind you have to do at least 30 minutes heavy exercise after and eat healthy, in the time taken to do 8 treatments, you could lose a few inches anyway.

The pictures in the NOTW make it look like you can lose the gut in one treatment.
My experience is that you would need to spend thousands to get rid of a gut .

If there was no change after one session, why would eight make any difference?

If it really worked that well with one treatment why on earth would people need to buy 4 or 8 sessions in one go?

Also funny that the Daily Mail had an article on this "treatment" a while ago and the person that they "followed" through the procedure has before and after photos exactly the same as the ones that are on the main website.

I saw a deal on living social 2 days ago and the first thing I did was look at before and after photos and then I booked it... Yes, this is my first post, but I've registered because I really wanted to comment on this thread for so many reasons.

first, I haven't had it yet, and after reading all these posts here yesterday, I felt a bit annoyed at myself for not having done the research before I went off and paid for it.

But I woke up this morning and thought - 3 types of people are going to land on this type of thread.

1 - People who are curious about doing it and want to know if it works.
2 - People who have done it and it didn't work - so they are wondering if it worked for anyone else.
3 - Service providers who are spamming.

The people who don't google and land on this page are people who have had it and had success. So it's no real surprise that there's no one here going yes it worked. (No one real, anyway).

The dissapointing part for me was that 2 people said they were going to have it and never came back to tell us how it went. My gut tells me that if it didn't work for them they'd be on here moaning in 2 seconds and good news just doesn't spread as fast.

Well, I have 6 appointments booked over the next 2 weeks, I have listened really careful to everyones comments about tighting the tape measure yourself etc - but not one person has talked about scales... surely the best way to tell is just by weighing yourself? 6 inches of fat leaving you must mean less weight, surely? (Or am I missing something obvious here?)

I've thought a lot about the excercise thing and I don't think it's as scammy as people here make out (although, that's probably because I'm clinging on to the idea that it works!!)

Every article I've read about it says the same thing. Do you eat healthy and excercise but still can't budge fat? Try Laser Lipo....

So telling you to mantain your excercise and healthy diet isn't outrageous - if it worked for you before you wouldn't be here...

I've been excercising like crazy and on a strict diet for a month, everything has gone down except for my bloody tummy which has just got more and more bloated and my weight is decreasing so slowly it's barely worth mentioning. So I know that if I have this laser lipo and continue with my excercise and lose weight, the laser lipo has been a contributing factor.

The idea that you have to excercise straight after makes sense, someone here said 'where does the fat go' - I guess that's why I'd want to weigh myself.

Well, I sound positive but I'm not sure really, just hoping I have't wasted my money, its not very comforting to see so many bad reviews... I wouldn't have done it if there wasn't a deal, and haven't spent 'that much' at all, So, fingers crossed..

I have my first appointment on Friday 3.30, then monday, wednesday, friday, monday and thursday.

I will absolutely come back after each appointment and tell you how it went. If not after each one then after the first and last for sure.

Hoping to give you good news soon!

I just began a course of 8 sessions today. I'll let you all know how I get on.
And so you know, I am male, 38, probably 1 and 1/2 stone over weight. Not massive but carrying!
I assure you all I am sceptical and don't work in any beauty related industry.
    Speak soon!

Wonder what happened to borderbound and there visit ?
  • .ExternalClass .ecxhmmessage P{padding:0px;}.ExternalClass body.ecxhmmessage{font-size:10pt;font-family:Tahoma;}I visited Revitalise in Hove this week for their £50.00 Laser Lipo trial.

The young lady was super professional, and stayed with me while the procedure was carried out. She explained everything I needed to know and wrote a whole diet/exercise plan, based on my current eating and life style habits. She was a delight. It took less than an hour.

It was totally painless, and having measured my self very carefully the day before, when I got home had lost 3 inches of belly !

Next time I will book an exercise period immediately after, as this is crucial to drain fat into the lymphatic system, then a sauna would be ideal.

As this was only a trial, this is not a criticism, only a observation, of the way I would do it next time.

    Thoroughly recommend...Paul :T
