My sister in law receives WTC for 16 hours (single mum) will this affect her or is it just couples who have to work 24 hours per week to claim and when is this change occuring - immediately or next tax year? She has just said if it affects her she will just go onton income support since child under 5 :( PS my brother gives her hefty child maintenance which she doesn't need to declare as income whether on IS or WTC so gains quite a bit over families who stay together!

this 24 hr rule for couples: my o/h works 18 hrs earns £10 to much per week to claim c/a for me but does do all my caring needs, this is why she cannot work more hours,
so as she is only working 18 hrs and i dont work does this mean we will loose wtc, or does me being on dla have any bearing on this , im on hrmc and mrcc

Does it say when the removal of DLA mobility from people in care homes is from - it's going to really hit the people I work with as they have learning disabilities and can't travel independently and the home does not provide transport.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
