The voucher expires on the 22nd November and yet I cannot redeem it. We are still well within the time to redeem.
Please can the GD rep advise. There must be many of us in the same boat who have left it until the last week simply because trying to order in the early days was difficult.
I just went through the normal glasses direct site and managed to order. Discount was correctly deducted at checkout after entering the code.0 -

What date did you do that?
The groupon voucher tells us to go via the ".cc" address but that has vanished well before the 22nd.
I tried going via glassesdirect with the code but all I got deducted was the £49 for the free second pair leaving £52.95p to pay. It should be zero.
I suppose I will have to ring them and try and explain but I am sure I will get an adviser who knows nothing about the Groupon deal or who will tell me to go via the groupon link.
Was hoping the GD rep on here would give some advice.0 -
Ordered a couple of hours ago. I tried to go through the groupon link too but was getting a error message.0

It works on the usual glasses direct site if you buy something more expensive.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Hi there.
Apologies for the delay in replying. I've dug around and found what's happened with the incorrect link. My apologies for that page going missing - the vouchers & codes should still be working fine on the site.
We've been making some major changes to the site so that we can avoid any future cases of the site struggling so much with the heavy spikes in traffic around offers like these. Unfortunately in the move we seem to have knocked this page out - but I've put it back now.
Again, sorry for that.
The codes themselves should still be working OK.“Official Company Representative

Thanks for the replies
I managed to order using the normal Glasses Direct website (Sorry I didn't realise the .cc site was coming back) and like the poster above I found out that the only way to get the order through was to buy something more expensive so one pair had to be at least £59.
So placed an order for a £59 pair and a £49 pair and this prompted a £10 payment which allowed the order to proceed. Yippee !
Very happy with the deal and given the volume of orders there is bound to be the odd teething problem here and there. Thanks very much GD representitive for monitoring this thread.0 -
Dear all,
I missed the offer on Crowdity which enabled you to got 20 Pounds off at the checkout of GlassesDirect. So what should I do now? Buy it at the normal price or wait for another offer?

For anyone that ordered glasses on a 'home trial' through glassesdirect and then couldn't place an order because they had gone out of stock, they told me today that I can have the trial pairs I currently have at home made up to prescription. You just have to wrap a piece of paper around them saying you want that pair to be made up. they say they will then contact you to arrange money and prescription.
