I bought the white slicer for a joint (pardon the pun!) Christmas pressie for me and the other half. Although he loves gadgets, I don't know whether he'll be impressed with this one, but I want it for myself to slice meat joints in time for Xmas and save money in the process. I also wanted to know what it's like to put a hot joint in it, I assumed it would only slice cold meat etc. Thank you for your advice!0

Bumping...as this deal (on the white food slicer) runs out on 24th December :xmassmile.Healthy eating aim per day: 3 fruits, 3 or more vegetables, 3 low-fat dairy portions, 3 starch portions, 2-3 lean protein portions.
Weekly aim: to include 2 portions of fish (one oily), some nuts, seeds, beans and pulses.0 -
Have to say I have used my Stainless steel one loads. Had a practice run on turkey that I got for £8 from Morrisons, and it turned out great - just like the sliced turkey off the deli counter, only much cheaper. Ordered a whole boneless turkey from M&S for Xmas day, and am gonna make loads of butties for my night-shift workmates from the leftover slices.0
