If you are really interested (or as nosey as me :p) I will pm you with the offending post (deleted from here now but grabbed from google cache and saved on my computer)...or what I think is the offending post, as they don't actually tell you what you've done wrong either!

You wish you hadn't asked now, don't you? :rotfl:

No, I am interested. :rotfl: I did think there were a few peeps who should really be carded and a whole load that should have. ;):D

Ah, the insults arrive, the refuge of those with no place to hide because they cannot give a straight answer to a straight question.

Funniest quote of this whole thread..

Just came back to laugh some more..

And waiting to see if a question asked of one of your friends roughly four times in one thread has been answered yet?

    Nope... thought not!

Comprehensive Spending Review now, less laughs and much more important!

    Which friend, which question?

Unlike many of those who seem to frequent the OS board, I can, and do, post autonomously. We dont all follow the philosophy of "kick one and they all limp".;)

    Good morning everyone

For those who are completely puzzled about this thread, I think it refers to a long-standing dispute that *a certian poster* has with me (for reasons that I'm at a loss to explain :( ).

I no longer read *that poster's* posts, so apologise profusely if that is not the case.

I've referred this thread to abuse myself now :D

Have a great day everyone; it's my birthday so have a slice of cake (there's bound to be enough for most of you ;) )

On a purely practical point - I am a bit puzzled by the phrase "I no longer read that posters posts".

I dont quite understand how a Board Guide can do their job unless they read all the posts that come up on "their" particular Board?????

Have I understood that correctly that you have "that poster" (ie MrsE) set on "ignore"? - or do you skim past their posts?

I certainly understand why any of us might wish to "ignore" or skim past posts by posters who we dont like or who dont like us or who disagree with us (delete as applicable) - but I dont understand how a Board Guide can fulfil their "duties" in that capacity if they do that???

Are you kidding me? I wouldn;t have enough hours to do that if MSE paid me a full time rate, let alone as a volunteer :)

    From my sig
I'm a volunteer to help the board(s) run smoothly but don't read every post.

Forgive me, but I'm not prepared to get dragged into another wrangle, so I'll leave the debate for another time.

Hope you enjoy the cake - but it was very naughty of you to take such a large piece and not even wish me HB :( :rotfl::rotfl: There are now 2 of them on this page, so there'll be plenty for second helpings, for kindly posters

There was nothing self deprecating about that crack;) but how nice of her to pop in with such a valuable and insightful comment.....little wonder it elicited the thanks from the same quarters that found no problem with mocking a new poster for wearing a wig (when not knowing or caring if it was due to medical reasons).

I thanked that post just because it made me laugh! I certainly wasn't at all impressed with some of the comments on the thread in question!!!
Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
