Ah, the insults arrive, the refuge of those with no place to hide because they cannot give a straight answer to a straight question.
ETA and for the record I have just checked your posts (in the interests of fairness) and you seem to be quite a champion of PP's, and to havemade accusatory comments in MrsE's direction on many a recent occasion.....observations which may be more relevant to this thread than any post of mine which you care to pick on.
Hardly bowing out gracefully......0 -

I echo with what CM & AliasJo said. This thread is mixed up with another & it's pretty confusing. Maybe there is history behind it that it only makes sense to those in the know.
He still has one then?:rotfl:is it on borrowed time?
Perhaps! and those who press the thanks button with an agenda;)

Good morning everyone :beer:
For those who are completely puzzled about this thread, I think it refers to a long-standing dispute that *a certian poster* has with me (for reasons that I'm at a loss to explain).
I no longer read *that poster's* posts, so apologise profusely if that is not the case.
I've referred this thread to abuse myself now
Have a great day everyone; it's my birthday so have a slice of cake (there's bound to be enough for most of you)

That looks delicious. I am off eggs and on cake at the moment so will definitely have a piece, thank you!It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

:bdaycake:Happy Birthday Penelope Penguin.:bdaycake:I won't share your cake, which means I'll leave more for others..................maybe it's because it's got too much icing on it.:p:D:D

However, the new rules say ........BOARD GUIDE SIGNATURES
Board Guides have been asked to mention their status in their signatures, so folks understand they are not moderators and don't read every post on their board:
Hi. Martin has asked me to tell you I'm the Board Guide on the X (and Y) board(s). I'm a volunteer to help the board(s) run smoothly, and I can move and merge posts on there. Board guides are not moderators and don't read every post. If you spot an abusive or illegal post then please report it to abuse@moneysavingexpert.com (it's not part of my role to deal with abuse). Any views are mine and not the official line of MoneySavingExpert.com.
........ which is subtly different from the old rulesUntil the position on BG sigs is clarifies, I'm leaving mine in all my posts (otherwise I'm sure I'll be in the firing line for "hiding my official badge"
)

Ahhh, I've just read the original thread and I am confused no more!
Thank you for pointing out what this is all about. I hate it when I can't make head nor tail of something (I'm a nosey so and so, I know!)0 -
:rotfl::rotfl:
Bestpud! What did you do to be on a yellow?!I've just noticed that.

There's a thread about that somewhere too!
I was a bit blunt, but mostly got caught up in one of mse's occassional 'let's clamp down and dish out some yellow cards' swoops!
You know how it is - there is nowt consistant about mse rule enforcement!
It was nothing major and a lot less 'offensive' than the things many people regularly post, but there you go!
If you are really interested (or as nosey as me) I will pm you with the offending post (deleted from here now but grabbed from google cache and saved on my computer)...or what I think is the offending post, as they don't actually tell you what you've done wrong either! :cool:
You wish you hadn't asked now, don't you? :rotfl:0
