Board guides personal posts

Board guides do a terrific job & can I be the first to express my gratitude for the (unpaid) job they do.

But I do think there is a fine line between their official posts & their personal posts.

I think perhaps it would be clearer if the board guide official sig was only used in board guide official posts & not in their personal posts, as it lends an air of authority to their personal posts (despite what the small print says) & if these are negative it can give the green light for others to jump on the bandwagon.

What do you think?
Should they always act impartial?
Or is it ok to express opinions & leave the prefect badge (:D) in the post or should they make their personal posts as civvies?

One again can I express my gratitude for their volunteer work on MSE:T

Don't all the guides sigs state that their opinions are their own, and don't reflect the opinion of MSE?
Moving onto a better place...Ciao

I agree, I think they should take the sig out. Mind you, if it were me I'd keep forgetting!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

    Thats the small print, yes.
But I think that gets lost in someones personal post with the prefect badge on.

I mean no disrespect with the prefect term - but thats kinda what its like, prefects in school:D
