Hope he gets there Aless
I would just like to announce somewhere (where it won't get me in trouble or start an argument) that I am only one person and while I am pretty good at multitasking I do have my limits. Really, I'm just one little person.
I don't believe youHugs though x
Caz - will FB some pictures after the big day. She loved it, but lots of family members don't approve that we let her have it early!!!
I'm snowed in againweather forecast is dismal for the next week aswell. Fingers crossed we get to my parents sooner rather than later.
LO just woken up so best dash........r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
Rmac - I'm going to do my best to ensure Katie is completely worn out on Christmas Eve so has an early night, DH can then get on with his construction jobs. He needs to get them done early as he's up for work at 4am on Christmas Day.
Hugs for everyone.
We've had a busy day so far, made, iced and decorated 2 dozen fairy cakes by 9am this morning, they were for the Sunday School Christmas Party - she had a fab time apart from me popping a ballon as I was blowing it up right next to her ear - no trauma though.
No plans for the rest of the day, as it's more than likely be a late one for us tomorrow as we're doing the pre-Christmas visit of the in-laws. Thankfully we don't have to go to all 4 houses just 2, but that's enough, as there will be 3 sets of ILs at one house!Proud to be dealing with my debts

Awwwww my poor little boy, we went swimming for the first time in months, in a big main pool as we'd missed the times for the kids' pool; he absolutely loved it despite shivering and lower lip quivering from the moment we arrived and there being nowhere he could stand up in the entire pool... had to literally drag him out eventually as I got worried about his cold levels! He was in massive good spirits, repeating "We go swimming again? AGAIN? Tomorrow? AGAIN?" constantly in the car and to OH when we got home... stuck him in chair for a piece of toast, he wolfed it down, begged for more and fell asleep in the chair before the next piece was ready!
So I'm now torn whether to let him sleep there, wake him for more food, or transfer him to bed! Think I'll let him doze a few then gently wake him.0 -
Awww, bless E! How adorable...
Why does my baby refuse the best food in favor of the most boring? He has a mini baby burrito and refuses to eat it, but has chowed a rice cake & orange. *rolleyes*top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Very cute Bruno
Urgh, I just really needed some quiet today, but between Miss M harassing me for boob all day and Husband's inability to not talk, just for a minute, just briefly I am exhausted and sick of asking for quiet and feeling him sitting there like a small child counting down the seconds till he's allowed to talk at me again. And now it's Sunday evening, so for another week I'll be on baby duty and while I love baby duty there's no chance of quiet there either, and the weekend is Christmas so no peace there either.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Evening all.
Bruno I love your storiesWe've not been able to take Izzy swimming for a few weeks, what with snow and illness. I might take her on Christmas eve, otherwise it will be the following week before we can get there - must check out the timetable.
We've had a family party today at the in-laws. Izzy is nackered, so I'm hoping she will go to bed without too much of a fight. We've got into bad habits when she was ill, and now she is better i'm going to be a mean mummy. No feeding to sleep, no sitting in her room reading my book while she goes off. But probably lots of yelling for a few nights till she gets the messageIsabella Molly born 14th January 2009

We had a family Christmas party today too. Henry was a right misery, but to be fair he got hit in the face by a bag of presents
. I didn't like to make a fuss and make the person who did it feel bad as it was an accident, but my poor bubba cried for ages
.
Just enjoying some nommy HM chestnut soup now. H is tucked up in bed and DH is at work. I should really wrap some more pressies too.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Awww GISI poor Henry! Hope he cheered up in time to enjoy some of the party and attention?
SS, declare tomorrow a treating-SS day, and do something to make it special!
Very pleased still with how good E is being with baby sister... tonight for example, he
* rushed to the other room to get her blanket when she started crying
* saw her in her bouncer across the room... watched her for a bit giving her a big smile, then waved. I said "She's too little to see very well, she probably can't see you" so he took 5 steps nearer then did it again
* came in when she was on my knees being burped - stared into her face from a few inches away for a second, then patted her shoulder and said "FANK you, baby Callie." and went and sat down.
Etc!0 -
Aww, E sounds so cute with Callie. I can't imagine how heart warming that must be to watch.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
