My boiler cupboard has several rolls of wrapping paper.
That sounds like me, although I did buy a box of reduced cards in Asda for £1 yesterday as they were so cute and will go into the box for next year.
I am supposed to be having a lie in as H is at his grandparents but I woke at 7:30 and couldn't drop off again. It might be because I went to bed at 9:30 last night :rotfl:. Can't wait to go and pick my boy up this morning though- I miss him so much.
Hope the kitchen went down well Rmac.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
You can buy protective wrapping paper boxes from somewhere! I could do with one of those. Ruddy cats love the stuff . I always have some left over but it doesnt last cos they'll shred it. GrrMummy to

Morning! DH has bravely began an attempt to get the place where his experience day is - it's rather rural, so here's hoping the roads are passable! I'm going to jump in the shower as soon as drops off for his nap (right now we have I'm-tired-but-I-feel-like-protesting which will last approx 5 min) and then set off for church. Haven't been in several weeks but I think it's the Christmas service where all the kids perform and sing and stuff - mega cute.
Since I've made 3 batches myself so far, I had DH make fudge (with me shouting instructions from the lounge) yesterday...big mistake! It burned AND over cooked so it's a crumbly mess that tastes like burnt sugar. Maybe I'll just make Caz's truffles to satisfy chocoholics instead.

Hope he gets there Aless
I would just like to announce somewhere (where it won't get me in trouble or start an argument) that I am only one person and while I am pretty good at multitasking I do have my limits. Really, I'm just one little person.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

:grouphug: Have a dodgy hug, SS (you're the little one in the middle, by the way).
Slightly weird milk question- I still have a little bit of breast milk in the freezer. I think it's been in there too long to donatebut it's less than a year so I think it would be fine to use. Would it be beneficial to give it to Henry on his cereal, or better to give it in his cow's milk drink so that it's not heated? I could also offer it to my cousin who has a 6 week old and isn't BFing but I don't know her that well and I wouldn't want to upset or insult her at all
.
Off for family Christmas at my Nan's later :j. She hasn't seen H walking yet so she is beside herself with excitement!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
you ok SS???
Waking up to the kids arguing is not a good idea, then opening the curtains to see a white blanket of snow makes me want to cry even more
Today on the list is to iron this mountain, sort kids paty clothes out for tom and then wrap some presents oh and i have a lovely roast post to cook for dinner
RMAC we need pics of the lovely kitchen, we bought a wooden kitchen and everyone plays with it, it is amazing how much time they actually play with it!What's for you won't go past you0 -
Yeah, I'm ok thank you, just a bit overwhelmed with trying to feed the baby breakfast because Husband didn't give her any when she got up an hour ago because she'd been on the boob/entertain the baby to try and stop her shrieking and flinging food/try to keep the baby off my boobs just because she's near them and she thinks it's ok to feed every hour even though she isn't a newborn any more/organise my banking online/listen to Husband talking about some crap he's reading/have a serious conversation with him at the same time/whatever the eff else I was doing/make a list because I am snowed under with stuff.
She's now napping and I have requested a bit of quiet time.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I put it down the gap between the wardrobe and the wall in my bedroom, from which cats and kids are both bannedwell except for the baby and she has no choice :rotfl:
That might stop your cat getting to it, also stops it being in the way. When I lived in my manky flat before I had my gorgeous bed I had a divan and I used to put wrapping paper under there.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o
