hello
I'm back again, went for my scan fri morning and they said it was too big to get out with a needle and admitted me again so they would do surgery to drain it. I waitind all day for a bed then all the next day for the op, finally went down at 10:30pm then it wasn't an abcess it was full of blood, when I came round I was bleeding alot so they had to take me back and find out where the blood was coming from. In recovery I was a bit out of it and said is it leaking again (as in milk) cause I can feel it dripping, then when they said they would take me back under I said I don't think you'll be able to put me to sleep again I'm wide awake now - next thing I knew it was 1:30am lol I didn't sleep much that night, had oxygen mask on and blood pressure machine going every 15 mins, my heartrate was really low too so it was making the machine bleep constantly. I am hopefully all done with the hospital now though. Got to see the nurse on the 29th to have the stitches out and I'm a bit sore, apparently it can recurr so I have everything crossed it doesn't and it's all over now, I have been through enough.
Now I have nothing ready for christmas, the kids haven't even seen father christmas this year but they don't seem bothered. They have some little presents and my mum is doing christmas day so we'll just make do I think. OH is going to work wed and thurs, we can't really afford all the time he has needed off but its just the way it goes sometimes, it'll be really tight next month, fingers crossed I can afford the bills.
Hope everyone else is ok, not had time to catch up properly but hopefully I can now I'm not going back to hospital anytime soon.0 -
Kitkat, T's not old enough to know if you had beans on homemade bread for Christmas dinner and when you look back on it it won't be anywhere near as stressful as it is now.
If you're taking T out I'd recommend an emergency pack in your car, though, lovely :grouphug:
Big hugs Merfe, I hope the worst is behind you now and Christmas goes off without a hitch.
CAFC, I hope you get your internet troubles sorted and good luck with your applications.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
Three gifts left to buy0 -
Hugs MERFE, that sounds like quite an ordeal. Fingers crossed that they have got it all now and it doesn't come back so that you can enjoy Christmas with your family.
I hope you manage to get out tomorrow Kitkat. Could you not send your DH out with a list? Or get him to stay at home with T while you go? Not sure what it's like where you are but here the local roads are like glass, but the main roads are absolutely fine.
I'm making sticky gingerloaf and it smells amazing. I plan to put it in my foody hampers, although none of my eBay celophane things have come to wrap it all so it might all be a bit rustic in greaseproof with ribbon!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
*Hugs* Merfe, so sorry to hear what a rough time u have had of it recently.
Thanks SS, good idea about the emergency pack!
Thanks also GISI, our main roads arent gritted around here at all, OH has managed to get out to work but he only attempted it as he has a works vehicle that is a bit better in the snow than our car, and as before we lived together he lived on a hill so is used to lots of snow, I think I will ask him tomorrow if he can go shopping, or see if I can get my car out as theres no hope at the moment.
Its snowing now0 -
Oh poor you Merfe
Lots of hugs x
Kitkat... luckily we bought our Turkey before the snow but we may have to have it with baked beans!!;)
I took Daisy out in the snow when it was still falling and she stuck her tongue out to eat it!:D
I think she may be having a growth spurt:eek: After sleeping through the night for lots and lots of weeks she's now waking for a feed around 3am. We were watching the snow falling heavily this morning from that time and when she did have a little nap ummm lets just say me and DH didn't go to sleep;););)
Yay for parcel arriving SS:D DS bought my pressie online and it doesn't look like it will be here on time:(BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I absolutely love my baby!
She was sat hiding behind DH and was being very very quiet. I thought she was happy playing with the tv remote but it turns out she had stole a piece of Vanilla Fudge from his box next to him and was eating it.
When we caught her she gave the most cheekiest smile ever
((hugs)) MERFE.0
