when i do, K never seems bothered and goes off to play with his toys instead. i take that to be a good thing as i dont want the TV to be the 'entertainer'. he has great fun playing with his toys and books. in fact he turns the tv off most morns and i never turn it back on. just listen to the radio on the laptop. althought today i have one of the music channels on playing christmas songs while he's asleep.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

We have it on but Lily only watches waybuloo. She's been asleep the whole time its been on, i just had it for background noise whilst i was on the laptop lol.
But she's awake now and is trying to attack the laptop so im off.0 -
we dont even have it as background noise....
just dont see the point of it for babies/toddlers. K moves from toy to toy after a few mins so hasnt got the attention span of the 15-20mins the programmes seem to be on for.
although he was watching the Bob the Builder christmas video....he was probably thinking 'what awful music is mummy listening too' :rotfl:'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

No, so does my husband!
We don't really watch kids' TV here either...very occasionally I'd stick it on in the hopes of entertaining him during one of his super-fussy spells...sometimes it work, most of the time it wouldn't! DH puts it on much more frequently because it's what he grew up with *cue huge eye roll*top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Caitlyn loves the TV... She comes and pokes you in the face with the remote to put on Mr Tumble... I blame DH... He can't do anything without the TV on for "background noise"A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Miss M is in love with Ivor the Engine but other than an episode or two of Ivor when I need her to stay still for five minutes or she's fussy she doesn't see anything else. I also try to make sure we're watching it "together" so if I'm in the room I'll talk about stuff that's happening, like, "Oh that's funny that Mrs Portee said that, she thinks Ivor's been kidnapped but we know where he is don't we?"Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Totally original - I tried her with the Clangers as well but she didn't like it. Bagpuss is next on my list in case she gets bored of Ivor. My main concern is that she loves the music and it's all hymns. There's only so much Cwm Rhondda and Land of my Fathers I can stand!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
