Miss M's working on another three hour nap :o and we need to leave for Gymboree soon but she's not had any lunch. I'm tempted to just leave it, this mammoth nap clearly means she isn't herself and I don't want her passing on the plague to the other kids.

  • You all "know" an extended bf-er me :) 3 years 7 months and still going :)

The only person I'd seen bf before that was my SIL and she stopped at 1 year, I just decided not to put an end date on us.

Katie was very cute this morning, she came down saw the tree, then whilst she was waiting for her breakfast read a book to the tree!

I've sorted through all my books this morning and DH took 5 full archive boxes to the charity shop!

Katie has a balanced diet and has never had vitamins.

    Hugs to everyone.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

thanks for this info - is it really the standard recommendation that LOs should be taking a vit supp? I'm shocked. I think LO gets a varied diet, but now I'm unsure whether I should be hving a multi vit too as I know I benefit from them - perhaps she would too. Think I might ask the HV next time I see her......
Scotland may have slightly different advice. But it was in my NHS Birth to Five book.

re: BF in public. I had the oppoosite and got dirty looks and stares several times when I produced a bottle for my LO :( That made me very sad and definitely contributed to the way I felt about myself and our feeding problems.

Hello :hello: my twins have a multivitamin, but they're picky eaters.

They actually tidied their bedroom  OH had to 'supervise' them though, and after a massive screaming fit (and I'm not good with those) they did it :j so that's almost ready for Christmas.

Squeak is now rolling on to her side reglarly :D and she is absolutely desperate to sit up. She gets cross if you hold her in a flat position!

We've also has red cheeks and dribble, so maybe teeth are in the offing. She's growing up so fast :( I'm enjoying every minute of her baby ness though :D

Hope everyone is OK, haven't had time to read back really.

ETA my post has so many smileys in it it looks like peas and sweetcorn :rotfl: must cut down!

    :( R.mac.

But Katie and Alice are very cute engaging with the Christmas tree. Miss M's mostly just dismantling ours at the moment - it took her less than 24 hours to figure out that she can easily move the chairs I set out as a barrier *rolls eyes*

My cat has taken up residence under the Christmas tree, it sleeps under there and pulls the baubles off!
