Gill we use Pure - but vitalite is another that is dairy free and is more MSE. Some of the olive oil spead are ok too, but some still add buttermilk so always check to labels.

Do you want me to list the ingredients we have been told to avoid? I would have to dig the book out.

We avoid philly - it is made with milk - which is a shame becaue L really liked it. And mayo too - but we are avoiding eggs.

We have had some success with the vegan cheese (Cheezley) L likes it on pizza and in toasties.

That would be great if you don't mind :)

    Thanks delain :)

My child is being a horrorbag, poor little beastie is snotty and rattly. Sent my mother an emergency request for baby Vicks, now just waiting for a sarky reply saying they've no room because of all the stuff they're bringing us :o

Miss M also ate barely anything at lunch, the friend we were with must think I'm making stuff up cause she never eats when he's there.

I think we have enough thorntons in at the minute lol...

Sugar, do the Germans not believe in decongestants then?

We had my little cousin here for a while last night while his parents were at a party... Ended up sending Aimee to bed at 11:30 because she was dead on her feet, she slept in until 8:45... D took C up for a nap at 12:30 and I asked A if she wanted to go and have a lie down on our bed... Haven't heard a peep out of either of them since!!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

gill - you wouldn't want low fat hummus, because babies need fats for calories! I usually make my own (it's dead easy) but store bought is okay too.

Krystal, the stuff available here is either herbal or heavy duty tablets. I don't want to give her tea made of leaves that some old German four hundred years ago deemed appropriate for snotty noses, but I also don't want to scour her insides with unnecessary antibiotics. They rent out steamer machines at the pharmacies to unblock sore little chests but the noise of them frightens her.

Those plastic containers that ready made food come in, the oven cook ones, are they suitable to reuse? To bake a cake in maybe?

Is it just regular hummus or do you need a low fat version? and with avocado do you spread it or slice it? (he's had it once, mashed up) He's quite happy with dry toast atm...is there any benefit to give him the buttery spread or would it just be to make it taste better?

EA - cod stinks, I feel a bit sick while giving it to him and I enjoy it so maybe you should get DH to give it to her? also it makes his poo smell fishy as well......

Babies shouldn't be given low fat versions of things. Full fat all the way - thats a great excuse for mummies too ;) LO LOVES hummous. Just like her mummy :D
