Feeling a bit rotten but improving thanks Tia and I went with the sandwich so the bread didn't get wasted.
You could be totally controversial and have a sandwich AND a pot noodle.
But then again, I'm a pig and you're Tiny SS.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

If my appetite was up to scratch I totally would, but I feel uncomfortably bloated after my sandwich.
I should be out doing Post Office/Boot Repair Shop but actually I am cracking myself up making a side-by-side image of Anakin Skywalker and Surly Santa. I shouldn't laugh really, Miss M's first encounter with Santa and he's pulling Mugshot Face - but it's sort of tickled me.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

happy birthday emmlou and congratulations Mr and Mrs Bruno. Welcome to Baby bruno and big brother bruno
We got outside today! Now please don't laugh - but it was rather an adventure. we ordered a taxi as car still stuck and not going anywhere fast. they won't come into our area and there are no buses running so put LO in the bugaboo with snow wheels and started off to the main road. Well I got stuck pretty quickly (going down the road - pavement disappeared until snow completely!). A lovely neighbour saw me struggling an helped me carry pushchair over snow
then got to toddler group - LO had the best time ever - her face was a picture when we went in. It was as if it were christmas morning! However, gettin home was more of an adventure. there has been a small path gritted and cleared outside the church, but it soon turned to mush and I couldn't get the buggy over it and the road is too busy to push the buggy on so I had to hop on a bus - it wasn't going in the right direction - but close enough for me to hop off a few stops later where there was a better a path. Once that ran out I was on quieter roads, so could push the buggy along the road, stopping when traffic came. Finally *phew* I managed to get us up the hill and back to where we live where I bumped into another neighbour and they kindly helped me carry the buggy over the snow to our road/house. :T
it took 10 mins to get there (once in the taxi), but 2hrs to get home:eek: Just as well I had packed some juice and snacks and we were wrapped up warm.
The thaw is starting - but there is still so much snow and ice everywhere. We're preparing for more next week according to weather reports -
I'm so proud of our adventure though - and we are walking round the corner to a friends later this afternoon for a coffee too:T:j:j:jr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
Kitkat, that sounds very annoying and frustrating, I hope you get your shopping sorted. I think there's a lot of credit card disruption at the moment - Mastercard, Visa and Paypal have all been hacked by Operation Payback after they prevented donations to the Wikileaks fund and Husband's old department is run ragged repairing the back-end damage (hee hee back end).
Glad Miss M seems better, T had the same with his milk allergy, he was bleeding terrible and then changed milk and the rash and bleeding disappeared within 24 hours.. I felt like I had imagined it!
Thanks for the info on CC, I did not know that! Back-end damage! :rotfl:part of the problem with my card is also my stupidity, my card was stolen (AGAIN!!!) and I cancelled it but keep forgetting to change CC details on websites I tend to use more, so they keep getting declined as card has been cancelled!
CAFC: L sounds so cute!! Well done L on his weight! I think Theo is 13lbs, but he is starting to make my arms ache!
Rmac well done on getting out!
I did my 1st KIT day at work yesterday, only worked 4 hours and weirdly enough I still remember what I used to do (I worried I wouldnt!) I missed T like crazy though. Still unsure about work, at the mo if I go back working 3 days per week I will earn less than SMP, I will need to drive 20 miles extra in the morning and 20 again in the evening to take T to my mums, and I will give her a bit of money, so unsure whether the extra costs are really going to be worth it?!0 -
Tia did you not try the kinky tree on viagra to keep him up
Hope kids are better soon. Erin is really bunged up with the cold just now and is drinking an unbelievable amount with it.
managed to get into town to pick up my reserved argos items and bread, ended up with a few more bits and pieces though  I did have lots of plans for today but as OH was a lazy so and so and wouldnt get up i have only just managed to have something to eat before charlie got home. Im now going to get the bags out the car and in the attic before the kids get back!
Sounds like an adventure Rmac!! glad you got out and home safely!
SS we have had sore bums like that they clear up really quickly??What's for you won't go past you0 -
R.mac we found that dragging the pushchair backwards was horrible but over difficult patches it worked when there wasn't anyone to help us carry her over them. Only if you need it for your afternoon adventure
And :j for going outside!
Caz, since we did not exchange any details via MSE I feel it is totally acceptable to tell you I posted your thing today and will send you a message elsewhere with the details xxx the small one's bum is totally healthy and unbroken of skin again, amazing how quickly they heal.
That sounds like a difficult decision to make KitkatI did that with my old CC too though, several times :rotfl:
