Happy birthday Em!!
:grouphug: Mel, I hope all the different opinions made things a bit clearer instead of clouding it further. I've seen pictures of you and while the style of dress is a bit  I do not think you would look as bad in it as you fear; no badly wrapped black pudding going on just a more womanly shape than the other BMs. But I also like Bruno's idea of talking to your sister from the perspective of "they're younger and don't have four kids and I'm worried I won't do you justice and be distracted" and see where it goes from there. But I would also reassure her that you were honoured to be asked and would love to play a role in her special day.
Susan and Jillie, I love your new sigs. Jillie's made me :j and Susan's made me :rotfl:
CAFC thank you for the fluffy pictures, they are much appreciated.
RB a Daddy Daycare hamper sounds awesome, you're so thoughtful. When I went back to work and left Husband with Miss M all I left him was a massive list of written instructions and the phone number of every place I could potentially be during the day with the detailed timetable (no mobiles in the hospital).
Kitkat, that sounds very annoying and frustrating, I hope you get your shopping sorted. I think there's a lot of credit card disruption at the moment - Mastercard, Visa and Paypal have all been hacked by Operation Payback after they prevented donations to the Wikileaks fund and Husband's old department is run ragged repairing the back-end damage (hee hee back end).
Gill, the maxi cosi sounds like a great price and if you have the room to store it somewhere warmish so the plastic doesn't get brittle in extreme temperatures (witness Beenie's snapped pushchair chassis, I am  that carseats are made from the same stuff) it sounds like a good deal.
Miss M's bottom and ladybottom are healthy and fresh again today so as usual I am questioning whether I actually saw what I saw. I swear, if only I had seen it I'd think it was another hallucination but since Husband was also there I'm just amazed at the healing power of babies. She's very snotty today but doing much better than me, I slept till 11am and had dreams that I got in trouble with the police for getting my foot stuck in the hardwood floor on the top floor of our building (?) and leaving Miss M running wild in the street. I did neither of those things, I am relieved to say.
Happy days to all, today I WILL get my various errands done, fuzzy head or not.
Edit: morning Weezl - Mrs Bruno has had a rather quick and safe labour and produced Miss Bruno after Matriarch Bruno took a middle-of-the-night taxi to look after E and they arrived at the hospital a scant couple of hours before she delivered.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
