CAFC, that was a nice thing to do. OH has been homeless before, and said sometimes little acts of kindness like that could reduce him to tears.

DH told me he's probably a drunk or a druggie, or both, and I dont care..... It was a good thing to do, and I would rather do it and be the fool, than to have not done it....
Whether he's a drunk or druggy or not, he's still a real person with feelings and I'm sure that the hot chocolate has benefitted him.

CAFC, thats a lovely thing to do. I regulary get teary about a homeless man who sits outside somerfield, i never carry change so dont have any to give him and i always feels so bad about it.
He reads alot, but i dont know if he would think i was weird if i gave him some of DHs old books :o

I was going to make some salt dough today, but i only have SR flour. So my sister is stealing my mums plain flour to bring to me :D

Lily is being so lovely today, she keeps smiling and laughing and giving us hugs. At the opticians she was smiling at random people. Except this big hairy old man, she just stared at him without blinking...

My poor eyes are still dry, so i now have 2 different kinds of eye drops and i have to try and build up contact lense wearing so my eyes are used to them again.

CAFC, the people at Hipp have a weaning chart thingy here
    http://www.hipp.co.uk/media/pdf/Weaning%20Chart.pdf?gclid=COmE6pf316UCFQ1O4QodQFL5kw

Obviously each bubba is different, so let your mummy powers guide you.

If you can afford to, you could get a couple of extra bits of food to give to him on your way out. Best to go for softer foods as often homeless people have trouble with their teeth e.g. a banana rather than an apple.

I dont think DH would let me, he is very weird about giving things to people. Even people we know.

You don't have to tell him :rotfl:

We had a homeless man here, I bought him a big coffee and he said someone had randomly bought him some thermal socks which he was happy about because it was cold.

What the quiz with added whizz? Nope, never seen it :rotfl:

CAFC what a lovely thing to do! it was probably one of the nicest things that has been donefor him in a long time!!

KOAG i didnt realise you were back at work already! hope the day goes quickly for you

Red you have your hands full but as the others have said take a break and then start, when we moved i left all the clothes in drawers and the hanging stuff went in the car and were hung as soon as we got in. Little things can be put in bags etc, and your car will be great for items you havent managed to pack up etc. wish we could all lend a hand.

Managed to get out to the shops and got a few essentials and then a few extras on top! Home bargains had a lot of little things such as the bottle puzzles for £4(they are £15 everywhere else!) teeny weeny families from 99p and lots of baby alive things very cheap!
Lunch just done very late and now i need to get started on the house again, doent look like kids will be back at school any time soon either :(
What's for you won't go past you
