    Jaffa cakes are yukky :(
  • Aww bless Finn! He looks adorable.

I have DS in his Asda "santa's little helper" elf outfit. I want to eat him up!! lol

I'm annoyed because my printer is stupid and prints lines (or rather doesn't print lines) through everything so I can't get all my labels printed out for snowman soup, homemade goodies etc. Bah. I wanted to do them today :(

Pah, Christmas fair thing was okay. They had the most random stalls selling the weirdest things. But we had fun and bought some indulgent-y unpasteurised goat's cheese, so I am happy. And Finn got a cute wooden toy out of the deal, so he's sorted. I suspect these things are slightly more interesting if your kids are old enough to go on the rides/do bouncy castle/enjoy the sites.

But we did win a bottle of Lambrini at the charity tombula...:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

would like to win a holiday, please!!

Tia could you put two thin duvets in one duvet cover so they are easier to wash?

This is what I do on ALL our beds:D

    Morning

Good night here, I think Lis gearing up to drop one of his bottles soon enough..... He had baby porridge yesterday and seemed to really enjoy it.... i made up the one spoon to 3 to liquid..... but it didnt seem to last v.long LOL How much/what size spoon would people recommend?

he still ate all his 210ml bottles yesterday but his early morning one which used to be at half 5 is now generally after half 7.....so is all eeking forward....

    Hi CAFC

This is what T has in a day...

7ish - 240ml milk - baby porridge, I just use her feeding spoon, so probably a bit smaller than tsp sized and scoop out about 3-4 heaped spoonfuls then pour on the water until it is the right consistency...

11ish - 240mls milk - Lunch equivilant to about half a CAN of baby food (I know this as I have given her a few cans up to now) Which works out again roughly 3-4 full spoons of food when dishing it out.

    3ish - 240mls milk - Dinner...same Lunch.

    7ish 240mls milk

2-4 If she wakes within this time bracket and won't re-settle I will give her a feed, but this seems to be getting less frequent now and if she wakes after 4 I won't give her one anyway because it puts day time feeds out of sync then:p

Not sure if any of that waffle helps

    xx

    Hello all

    Finn is so cute!

I too love fabric softener, I regularly re-wash clean clothes just so they smell pretty again. I've never used powder detergent only ever use liquid/ gel but OH was a domestic appliance engineer so I always get warned about powder bla bla bla!

OH has gone up north :( until Friday night and then off again next Sunday. I wont see him for more than a day until Christmas day :( think as the house is all christmassy I feel very alone :( my mums car has broken down so she can't even come up (not seen her for 2 weeks) so we might venture out tomorrow, T misses his nanny!

*hugs* EA my OH has been made redundant 3 times in 4 years so I feel ur pain, this is our 1st Xmas living together with him working, I really hope things work out for you, we're all thinking of u :)

I'm excited about secret squirrelling :) LOL
  • That's good Sugar. 2 or 3 years ago I came home to find our house decorated, DH had done is for a surprise for me. I didn't have the heart to tell him I was gutted I couldn't do it myself. And I had to keep moving the decorations on the tree as they weren't done right :o

    Thanks, you are loverly! :T

I feel like we must be really behind or something LOL L has only just started being given baby porridge and he's 5 1/2 months, and T was a june baby as well as is doing all the above....

Maybe I'l put his bottles up and see how we go with that....

Would I be better (subject to Baby L approval) increasing his milk feeds first and getting him to 4 a day and then adding in porridge or doing them side by side???

Weaning is the one area I feel like Ive got no idea with, and find I cant get my head around whats on t'internet....
