I don't use powder it cacks up the machine but I've found the new gel stuff pretty good. And that persil small and mighty although I don't use that because it smells pretty strong in itself and I like to be able to smell the fabric softener. I'm one of those nutters that sniffs all the fabric softeners on offer in Tesco every week to decide which one I want :rotfl:
I don't use fabric softener either... Haven't since Aimee was a baby... It's very liberating
And 5 hours Merfe.. Some people would class that as sleeping through
Tia, Aimee's mattress was with the bed from Argos, the one side of it is rubbery plastic... If she was a prolific wetter I would probably put some old towelling under the sheet for absorbancy, but she's not... We get little patches mostly where she's woken up a little late...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I do that too
I tried Persil Small and Mighty but it made us all itchy, and my knickers were horrible. I was so itchy down there and all the skin cracked and bled and it stung when I went to the toilet. I thought I had thrush or something, then realised it was the Persil. Sorry if TMI
I usually get Tesco Bio in the green box, but I'm currently using Bold lavender as it was really cheap. It smells quite nice.
Off to work again this morning. Still trying to catch up on things. I know the shops are going to be heaving and I'll probably end up getting quietly cross and wishing I was homeHere I go again on my own....0 -

Awwww, Smartie is so pretty with a beautiful Daisy!
Sorry, brain doesn't function well on Sunday mornings.
We don't use fabric softener here as it messes with cloth nappies.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

That's a really good idea delain :T
Nothing much to report this morning, we're currently playing with a too-small Santa hat (Tesco, my baby does not have a tiny peanut head!) and making a plan for the day. Cleaning appears to be on the list
and just how our house got so grubby when we've been gone for two weeks is beyond me.

Don't worry Smartie - my quote is about 18 months old!!
I am shamefully popping in to tell you how wonderfully cute my baby has been this morning! We started putting the tree up before he went to bed last night, we let him put the first decoration on it! When he came down this morning he literally said 'WOOOOOOWWWWWW' when he saw it :A
He keeps coming for cuddles and kisses (he has never been a cuddly baby) and to tell me he loves me and to sing to me, he is just as cute as a button
I am so looking forward to Christmas - Benjamin is loving 'danta' already!! This morning I was trying to get him to say Santa properly and he was saying 'yes mum - sssssssssssssssssssssssssss - DANTA' :rotfl:

I'm another nutter who loves the smell of fabric conditioner!Evansangel wrote: »No, they dont like making people redundant, they would rather palm people off onto another campaign with no choice in hours. Thats what they did to us when we were working on the same campaign before.
Actually it seems that everytime im pregnant, his work place does something to be a PITA.
He'll probably be forced to quit.
Edit: Well that was the case with a guy we know who's campaign got shut down a few months back.
Could DH not just put up with the hours for a few months while he looks for something else? At least then you'd still have his income.
Off to work for me too, and it's gonna be a long day. Snow is all gone so no doubt everyone will be heading to town!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
*sniggers* Miss M just pushed our recycling bin in here. It would be harder work except she's removed all the plastic and placed all the lids from the Tupperware in it instead. I gave her a shocked look and she promptly turned around and took it back. But in the time it took me to type that she's taken it somewhere, emptied out all the lids, placed one of her books in it and returned it to me :rotfl:
Her father is supposed to be doing kitchen stuff with her. I wonder what he's doing that he's missed that little swathe of absurdity?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
