Finn is a cutey :) he will come to terms with his hair I am sure.

I've been made redundant 3 times - one time with 3 months' gardening leave which was nice, once with a week's notice and nothing, and once at my current company but I got help finding another job internally. It's not a lot of fun but for me the key thing is advance warning and opportunity to plan and such - good luck EA and EA's OH, I think he should push for as much info as soon as possible to help you work out what the best thing to do is.
  • Hello

I've read back to hugs to everyone who is feeling poorly.

I've been MIA as Thursday was busy went into town and ordered sweet bombs for all the nieces and nephews. Paid the cheque in and bought a chicken and a gammon joint from Sainsburys (half price offer) so that's we're having chicken on Christmas Day and Gammon for New Year. Katie was a bit off town, went really pale, got her home felt her head v hot, Calpol didn't work so sent DH to the chemist for Nurofen and Kool n Soothe patches, which worked a dream, but all she wanted was mummy cuddles.

Friday - I spent making a birthday cake for my neice - Devils Food Cake, ended up rather large as I didn't have the right size tins.

Yesterday we went swimming followed by a trip to Cadbury's World, Katie was in heaven, got lots of free chocolate, her favourite thing was the cup with the swirly straw that Father Christmas gave her.

Today it's been deliver DH to work for 6am as his car had a flat battery, neither Katie or I were impressed at the 5.15am wake up, Nativity rehearsal at Church, lunch, collect DH from work and we've just vegged out this afternoon. This evening I'm planning on making some mince pies using puff pastry and some orange muffins.

    Hi,

I just wondered if anyone had a car which comfortable fits 3 car seats in the back? We have a Focus C-Max and I'm stressing that 3 seats won't fit in the back. It would either be an infant carrier and 2 stage 1s, or 2 stage 1s and a high back booster.
Does anyone have any idea if we will be ok with the C-Max?

My husband & I don't have a car so don't know the answer to this question so am hoping that this will help:

I know that you can get an infant carrier, stage 1 and a high back booster across the back seat of a Renault Scenic. Friends of ours got this car when she was expecting thier 3rd child, when he was born their eldest was 3yrs 2 months old and in high back booster, 2nd child was 19 months old. They got the scenic for the reason of it being able to fit the 3 seats across the back.
