I had a temp job once, three weeks covering the real secretary's annual leave, where they had a person on the switchboard so my phone never rang, the other MD had a secretary who was doing all the day to day stuff, so I was there in case "my" MD needed to dictate something. I typed eight letters in three weeks. AND they had the internet blocked. I wrote a series of short stories just to keep my mind occupied :rotfl:
:rotfl: I only had a job because my manager was lazy which meant one of the other day people had too much to do so they needed me (and my predecessors were lazy so for the first few months there was a backlog of stuff for me to do). The shift people used to teach me how to do some of their things to give me something to do. I did start writing a sci-fi novel during my GCSE lessons but then I forgot the plot so I never finished it.

SS - I wanted to ask about the fact that you mentioned you have no TV, hope Its not too nosey, but is that cos your in Germany or would you have no TV in UK too? Tell me to bog off if you dont want to answer I wont be offended.

While Molly is independently eating her banana (from its skin as opposed to in chunks, she refused the chunks and grabbed the bit I'd not cut yet) ... we'd probably have one in the UK but our building doesn't get a good signal and neither of us is terribly interested in TV anyway. I download series or films if I/we want to see them but we don't miss it.

We do have a TV but it's only a monitor for the Wii IYSWIM.

    Morning.

Kindof, I like the 2nd picture, but as the others have said, don't feel like you have to buy them. Could you take your own piccies whilst E's there if you want to remember him doing the classes?

Susan, your GCSE lesson sounds a bit like my Indonesian class in high school, I gave my book to the boys who sat next to me so they could make paper aeroplanes :o

I was just quick at finishing things and didn't want to be the annoying person making everyone else look bad by saying I'd finished. We weren't setted for most things and the teachers never made us work that hard. My mum actually complained when I was lower down the school because I used to have no homework every week. It was shock when I went to university as I actually had to work hard and unlike most people hadn't learned how to already.

That would have required me to have friends to write to.

    Morning all

Sorry I havent been here in a while, ive just been so busy

Have I missed anything major? or little lol

Elliot was at his last free music class and their was a photographer there which was great I was all excited about seeing the pics I could buy, but then was very dissapoiinted as he only has 3 and she took way more than that, he was playing with the bubbles they blow at one point and she took about 5 shots of that so Ive no idea where they are, even if they are crap I would still have liked to have seen them

My main vent is that there are like 10 photos of two babies, 3 of elliot, like 5 of another couple of babies, and 1 of three of the babies, and I just dont think that is fair, I think she should have taken the same amount of pics of each baby :(

Anyway, OH doesnt want to order any pics cos we dont think they are that great but I still want to order some cos I think its a special thing and I want memories of him being there

These are the 3 of him

Which one or two would you order if it was you?

To charge somebody for those under the guise of professional photography is ridiculous. Beautiful child, but unfortunately the photographer doesn't seem to be anything special, and to top it off if you view the data stored in the image it would show that they were took with a consumer grade or entry level camera then subjected to quite a bit of software manipulation.
Unfortunately too many people these days call themselves 'professional' photographers as they have a DSLR and as such standards are lowered.

I would personally take the little one to a local studio to get some, any good photographer will be able to get those perfect shots :)

    Sorry mini rant over :T

If I had to choose one I would be inclined to go with number 1, as long as they were just proofs and not the originals as the white balance is quite off on it and would need adjusting. Number 2 is way too over exposed and 3 has completely missed the focus point, 1 has too but not as severely.

Kindof - I love the first pic. I saw it before I read what you'd written and thought how cute he was :) I agree with the others tho, if you're not going to display it or put it in a special album then it's not worth it.

*hugs* for all the tired and poorly people.

We had a bit of a breakthrough last night. T woke crying at 3, which was too early for his night feed so I just got up and patted him and put his seahorse on. I then must have gone back to sleep, woke up at 5 and he was sleeping peacefully. He didnt wake unti 7.15 when I heard him playing with his teddies and went in to get him. Hopefully this is the start of him sleeping through!
