I had the same thing with L yesterday EA.... DH gav me his bum to sniff and it honked, got myself all prepared upstairs for poomageddon and nothing..........

he repaid my later on in the day though by having the foulest greeny tinge poo ever.....

I think he might be teething as well..... he's got really rosey cheeks, yesterday's nasty poo, is being a bit selective with food and chews on just about anything and everything..... but I cant see anything... some of his gum feel really sharp but no whitey bits showing?

Oh well......... we've left DH in bed, as he starts new job tomorrow. Need to get my wrapping skills on as I selectively forgot that pretty much everyone in my family has a birthday in Dec/Jan so now I've got to re-work xmas pressies..... I've got 2 bdays on the 6th, 3 on the 24th, one on the 12th Jan and one 17th Jan.... GAH! LOL

  • scruffy - hugs to you and your family. I hope you have a good healthcare team behind you to help you through this, I found Macmillan helpful earlier in the year too, their helpline number is 0808 808 00 00.

I was coming on to whinge about feeling exhausted, nauseous, cold, achey and bloaty but no feel pathetic. Just had to get DP to change little man as the smell was making me wretch! Is it possible with 2nd bump I could be showing already at only 8 weeks???? Am dreading showing early as don't want to tell anyone at work until at least 15 weeks if I can help it. See, utterly pathetic moaning!

    Morning!

Finn slept until 7am, which is practically record-breaking chez Aless. :T

I'm being a lazy so-and-so and skipping church - we're going to have a belated Thanksgiving meal today, so I don't feel like doing both. DH is being a good boy and going, lol.

I need to think of pressies for my dad & his OH very soon. I only know her well enough to know the usual generic older woman gifts of creams & potions and/or chocolate will not suit. I also need to procure the last little thing for my Secret Squirrel so I can get that ready for the posting, eek!

Can't believe it's Christmas season again...it all just feels very weird right now. I actually feel a bit sad?

I plan our budget on an annual basis taking into account the seasonality of income and unpredictability of the winter months so it's not going to cause us any problems.

    That makes sense.

I don't do that as I can usually get out to work, so it's going to leave me a bit short if I can't get out :o

We've had more snow overnight and it was -6°C outside when I got up at 7am! My cousin is having a full Christmas dinner today, so it will be nice and festive for them! Her husband is in the Navy and he's off for a six month stint in the Gulf next week, so they're having their Christmas today.
Here I go again on my own....

I am now about 3/4 stone lighter than I was before I got pregnant with T (yay for breastfeeding, can't fathom out what else caused it but then I only put on just over a stone in pregnancy!) which is what makes me paranoid I am going to show earlier. Maybe I should have eaten more!!!
  • Morning. Still no snow here, but Jack Frost has well and truly visted and its Baltic. Alex slept all night. After being a full on whingey pants yesterday. Poor Joe is currently playing football inside the local soccer dome and it's as cold in there as outside. And i'm currenty warm, drinking hot chocolate and eating toast in the attached cafe. Hour and half to myself, bliss!
