  • My LO is bathed every night (6 months), he doesn't get really dirty as such but as we're feeding him solids now, there are some nasty nappies and it's part of his bedtime routine so I like him to be all fresh and clean and ready for bed. It only really takes 20 minutes if that from start to finish and he loves it, so it's worth the extra time - and backache but each to their own. Do what suits you :-)
Its nice to be important but more important to be nice!
  • Eep, my day was so boring I've broken the thread :(

  • Evening everyone,

    Hope everyones ok?

Not really managed to get on here much the past few days thanks to a poorly boy and a black friday amazon addiction lol!!

So jake was ill tues and wed, today he seemed much better, still tired so sent him to school, after having tantrums about not wanting to drink anything, so after school i got him a big flask of warm vimto (his fave) which he would normally down after a day at school, he was just being so difficult and making such a fuss about it and refusing, it took me threatening to take him to the hospital before he gave in... argh!!! he finally finished it but i put an alarm on to go off every 5 mins and he had to have 3 swigs each time... KIDS!!!

Oh and jasmine showed me up by throwing her plate of food off the highchair in pizza hut today, yep it had lots of pasta in sauce on it too...
  • Don't worry, I'm sure pizza hut have seen worse ;) (trust me, they have. I used to work in one)

I am googling "nursing cover" now.

Amazon have a few. I think it's more of an American thing, and they call them "hooter hiders"!! My best mate takes hers everywhere as it gave her the confidence to discretely feed in public!

For some reason they're really expensive 2nd hand on ebay, so if you didn't get on with it, you could always flog it and get most your money back!

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • Ooooh SM, if you're about, I just won a dress on ebay to wear to dh's christmas party! Eeek, hope it'll look ok on....

;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
  • My Mum was talking about this the other day to one of her friends who had there LO last week. She said she used to bath me once every other week or so, unless I got dirty or we were going out! She said she had no need to wash me all the time! Then when I got to about 5 (my little brother being about 1), my mum just used to chuck him in the bath with me until I started whinging that I didn't want to have a bath with my little brother anymore!
