I took Miss M for her Hib vaccine :(

I'm glad she got it but I still hate it.

thats how i feel. its something you have to have done as the illnesses we are vaccinating against are so serious

i never realised you dont get BCG anymore unless you are from a particular country or area where you live (found out when i was pg)

Is it standard in Germany to get the vaccines separately or do they just have more options?

It's a different schedule, I think, Susan - I thought she was getting the tetanus/diptheria booster today but apparently not, she'll get that and MMR round 2 in December.

  • Hello,

Been trawling the tinterweb for jobs, applied for one, a similar role to my job prior to last one, it's an agency though so probably got no chance.

Katie at Toddlers with mum, she had an unsettled night last night with tummy ache, she woke about 11pm had a tummy rub and went back to sleep, but then at 1am she was in tears so a dose of calpol plus more rubs sent her back to the land of nod, I think it's trapped wind as her appetite is fine no temperature or anything - I'll nip to the chemist this afternoon once DH is home to get some milk of magnesium.

I'm waiting to hear about Katie's pre-school boosters.

Posted her school application form yesterday

    Hugs to everyone.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

ok how can i politely inform the health visitors that I do not care for their involvement?

They tried calling again today, but i answered just as they hung up, so i called back and got the snotty reception woman, gave her my name and she said she's se if she could call through some numbers to see who was calling me, she put me on hold for about 10 seconds, and then comes back and says noone is claiming the call, are you sure it came from here.... so politely said I just did an automatic recall on the number that called me so yes, and then she says well they'll call you back then.....

Honestly all they do is bring me stress..... I bet its because I still havent taken L to get him weighed, but how do you politely tell them and them actually listen that you have no concerns with your children and if you did you know full well the number to your gp and how to get to hopital? That and Im fed up of being spoken to like im a child, i know i look young and its partially my own insecurities but they do it to husband as well..... like we're oiky teenagers who havent got a clue!

rant over but suggestions welcome x
