I keep eyeing up double buggies... not that I'm going to need one. Not planning to have another baby until Izzy doesn't need a buggy any more. Not unless we win the lottery anyway. If that happens then we can afford to pay for whatever help I need if I get SPD again, and it would be all systems go!

    Hello :)

Same here about not planning another baby till Elliot doesn't rely on the pushchair so much. I don't like the idea of needing a double pushchair.

My sister got away with using a buggy board type thing with her two once the older one was old enough. So i'd be tempted to try that.

I might be coming off the pill early next year :)

    Morning

I had a buggy board with Josh but I found pushing both of them really hard work as it's quite hilly where we live. It was one where he stood behind the pushchair, so it put a lot of pressure on my lower back as I was sort of stooping and leaning over Josh to push. I made him walk instead :o

Busy day again with work, so love to all xx
Here I go again on my own....

EA - I have a Graco (a single mind you, Quattro) and compared with my new one (B-Smart 3) it is big and pretty heavy with everything and the baby in. The wheelbase on Gracos is quite wide too, making them nice and sturdy, but tricky around local shops (though suppose you'll have that issue anyway with it being a double). I love my B-Smart and they are quite reasonably priced. They do a double which, if I was looking for a double, I'd definitely try.

How weird we both ended up giving the fnger to the graco and getting a b-smart - i went 4 wheeled, and I loveseses it!!!!

Only downside is the basket isnt as big as the graco and is sloping.... but its really easy for me to push as a piddler and most importantly over everything else in the world its PARENT FACING!!!!!

Yeay for sleeping late :) Even if it put you behind!

Ladies the 20% off toys at Mothercare/ELC is running again today and possibly tomorrow. There are some good bargains to be had as its 20% off all toys, so even if there reduced you get a further 20% off.

Also have posted an offer on Fairy Exchange :D

Well there is something funny going on with Thursdays as Im ill again! ended up going to bed with T last night and now have no voice :( T is being good but H is being a grumpy get! think its cos T wouldnt share her breakfast with him lol Anyhoo he is sprawled on the sofa so she is free to play on the floor without being growled at, so it means she can practice trying to stand her self up:eek:

parent facing option is why I bought it :) I have a lovely lambskin liner in ours - D seemed to be rattling about in there a bit! Basket could be a pain but to be honest, I think Graco spoil you a bit with their fabbymahoosive basket! Haven't lost anything out it yet and can still carry two bags of shopping in it :)

We've had another naff night - not impressed. He had gotten down to going to bed at 7.30pm and waking up at 7/8am with only two wakenings - one for dummy rescue, one for feed. Not sure what has gotten into him - he's now waking hourly, if we're lucky! Anyhoo, now he's asleep on me and we have to leave for rhyme time in 20mins - joy

OH was on about Phil & Ted buggies the other day, with the older child underneath had me  for a minute.

Fortunately it tuned out he wasn't hinting :rotfl:

    I think 4 is probably enough :o

I've got poorly twins home today, one with a throat infection after being sent home from school yesterday with it, the other with just the sore throat bug. I've given one antibiotics from the docs, both calpol and ordered them to stay in bed! I felt a bit mean at the time even though they were all groggy but they're both asleep now ;)

CAFC They do have odd little phases like waking up at silly o clock and getting tired. All my older ones did that at some point!

Squeak hasn't got that far yet.

Got my brother coming home from London this weekend :T and a massive tesco shop being delivered on Friday (tomorrow ) So I'd best get this hell hole sorted out, I'd be ashamed to let anyone in ATM!

nice one. i found as soon as i started using the cot during the day K slept better and quicker during the day. I think they must get confused with where they are and what to be doing. So...i'd put him in his pram and he'd not sleep unless i pushed it back/forth for about 15 mins. But when he was tired and i put him in his cot during the day, he'd be asleep really quick. I think even at this young age they associate where they are with things they do. so cot=sleep swing=play buggy=going out IYSWIM

we're good here. Off to Drs in bit for blood tests - usual Blood Pressure checks. although the meds i am on now have worked wonder and my BP is the lowest for years (aprt from when i was pg)

K should be going asleep but he has a cold and i an hear him grumbling. i was hoping he'd be asleep so i could leave him here with DH
