for the Scottish ladies i thought we could arrange a day to lunch :D

Ea as Mel said! i preferred one in front of the other for getting around and not getting stuck but you need to try them out first! i would say air tyres are an advantage esp for bumping up and down kerbs xx

See now I preferred side by side:D Which again, is why you NEED to try them out...everyone is different.

However if you use buses a tandem will probably be easier!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my double and am planning on getting the single version of it:)

  • EA - I have a Graco (a single mind you, Quattro) and compared with my new one (B-Smart 3) it is big and pretty heavy with everything and the baby in. The wheelbase on Gracos is quite wide too, making them nice and sturdy, but tricky around local shops (though suppose you'll have that issue anyway with it being a double). I love my B-Smart and they are quite reasonably priced. They do a double which, if I was looking for a double, I'd definitely try.

I do agree about air tyres though:)

I also like the B-smart range B-smart 4 is what I will go for if I don't get my single I want, the double is called B-Dual I tried it out in the shop....it was ok, but I wasn't that keen tbh...although the woman was very impressed with it.

  • Mel - I'd have gone for the 4 too, only I do a bit of off road walking and the three wheeler copes better with the mud (and is one less wheel to clean :) ). Only issue I've got with it is that the harness isn't a true 5 point harness and is instead two loops with a crotch strap - fine while they're little but I do worry about how well it'll do up with a big toddler in a winter coat.
