Scans - when was expecting the boys (1996 and 1998), you only got one scan at around 20 weeks.
I did get a very early scan with Josh at 8 weeks, but that was due to a previous miscarriage and they just wanted a quick look to check there was a baby in there and he was in the right place!
With Charlotte it was normal to have 12 and 20 week scans. I then developed complications so I had various scans between 30-35 weeks. The last one was supposed to be a brain scan on her, but she'd dropped into my pelvis and due to the angle of her head and my pelvic bones, they couldn't get a clear scan on her head. They did manage to get a 4D scan of her face though, so I got some freebie 4D pics of herthreemuttleys wrote: »
Also, we are going to get him a bouncy chair...I have a mothercare gift card (£15) so will probs use that to put towards it. Any good recommendations?
xx
We got this one from Mothercare and it wasn't very expensive. It also had a bar which clipped on with three hanging toys on it but as you can see, she liked the dog better!
Charlotte was late sitting up so I think she used the chair until she was about a year old. I started off feeding her solids in the chair as she was ready for food but not strong enough to sit in the high chair!jillie1974 wrote: »we are officiallt DEBT FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am supposed to be going to a wedding next Saturday with DH and DS.
Would you bother buying a suit for K or would it be a complete waste of money? I'm thinking it would be a waste of cash as if he throws up (which there is a good chance of as he has his jabs next Wed) but they do look cute!
Also, how long would you stay for? The wedding is at 11, and the meal is at 1:30. Would you leave after the meal? Bearing in mind jabs on Wed and little rosy probably teething cheeks?
I would just buy smart trousers and a shirt that can be worn again for Christmas, meals out or that kind of thing.
I would play the actual wedding by ear. If he's fine and you are enjoying it, then just stay there!
We went to a wedding when Josh was about 18 months old. I'd already told them he was used to an afternoon nap which he would miss due to the meal, so we'd just stay until he got cranky and needed to sleep. He had his meal, then he was running around like an idiot at the evening do and eating from the buffet. He lasted till about 9pm and then just crashed on some chairs by the side of the dancefloor, so we just left him there and enjoyed the rest of the eveningHere I go again on my own....0 -
