You should all move to Germany. I got one at 5 weeks, 7 weeks, 8 weeks, 10 weeks, 13 weeks, 16 weeks, 20 weeks, 24 weeks, 28 weeks, 30 weeks, 32 weeks, 36 weeks, 37 weeks, 38 weeks, 39 weeks, 40 weeks and 40+3. I was sick of the walk to the doctor's office!
I paid to have one aat 10wks as I only got one NHS scan - it was meant to be a 12wk one, but I hd it at 17ishweeks. That's why we paid for the early one - so we could tell people at the 12-13wk point.threemuttleys wrote: »morning all...may I join in please?
(feel like a kid going to big school)
Alex was 4 weeks old yesterday (where on earth did that time go?!) really must take more pics, he is changing almost daily.
How is it that on tuesday, most of his "newborn/first size" fitted just right, and today, 0-3 fits, and the newborn doesnt...in the space of 2 days...I ask you (please tell me it gets better!) so glad we bought so many different sizes!
Also, we are going to get him a bouncy chair...I have a mothercare gift card (£15) so will probs use that to put towards it. Any good recommendations?
xxThis is the one we have:
It's just the bottom of the range one from Mothercare and did us fine.
susan we had the same one an I loved it. Although it was the cheapest I could find, it was also the only one I could find that ws 'old fashioned' enough for me. It wsa hard to find ones tht were just bouncy chairs IYKWIM. My sister is now using it with her wee boy who is 4ish months.

finally got boots.com to work last night. I chose 3 items which totalled £58. Got a 3-4-2 deal, used the £3 off pampers voucher, bought some nappies, wipes and bath stuff for LO and paid £51 in total and got 1300 points. I'm a happy lady.
I'm now wondering what other things I can buy :rotfl:
House hs gone from sparkling to messy in 5mins flat so must try hard to tiyd up before friends arrive at 2.30pm.

Yes - we wanted one that was just a plain bouncy chair without all the bells and whistles. We had a vibrating bouncy chair at Idris' mums house, she didn't like the vibrate, it didn't bounce, and it was only used as it had a toy mobile thing over it, once she got to about 3 months old it was made redundent as it didn't bounce - she didnt wanna sleep lol0

our first bouncer was the plain Asda one, i didnt see any point in having toys on it when they are too young to see them properly and play with them. We used it till Kian ws 4 months then moved him to the Fisher Price rocker/chair. It had a toy bar that detatched'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0
