I'm in tears as it looks like doggy will have to go live with my parents....:(
Will it be as a permanent thing or just until L is a bit older? Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Sorry to butt in, since one of my posts got redirected here yesterday I've been lurking again...
I am considering a VBAC being pregnant with no2, and my midwife has said there are no inductions following a previous CS.
Induction was one of the reasons I was thinking of not having a VBAC, the intense pain from last time put me off, but when I explained this was one of my reasons for possibly wanting another CS, she said they will never induce me this time. Nearer the due date, they will assess how I'm doing, decide how many days overdue they may let me go (if any) and if not arrived by then, it's straight to a CS rather than induction.
As I'm still undecided (following seeing a consultant, who I wasn't sure had even read my birth notes!), they have booked me onto a VBAC session with other mums, as someone mentioned to Always a day or so back, so I can discuss it in more depth.
Doesn't help me that all real life mums I have spoken to who went for a VBAC, ended up having another CS in the end anyway and all said they wish they'd just gone straight for it in the first place!0 -
Aww it is sad CAFC but you will feel better when he's moved, He'll be happier when he's not fighting L for attention, you'll be happier because you have more time and he won't be causing trouble stressing you and when you see him it will be all happiness I'm sure

I missed my doggy something rotten when I left home but it made me appreciate her much more when I did she her (which was loads, I'm always at mum n dads)0 -
CAFC - I second the Jumperoo. We got ours second hand from eBay.

He doesn't stay in it very long as he's not quite interested enough in toys yet for it to be really fun for him but does the job... even at his age!
Sorry to hear about your dog though

When my parents come to stay he'll stay here... and theyre genereally up every 6 weeks so not too bad but still...

Permanent.... I dont think its fair on him to chop and change so much for it. He's only 2, and already had upheaval...
Im just really sad its come to it but he's now showing signs of aggression toward L.... and I just cant have that....Im now scared of what could happen....and its not fair to either of them....
Thing is we got G when we lost first baby as a kind of replacement, so its creating all sort of emotional turmoil and i'm now in tears....:(Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

hi honeypop - thats interesting about a VBAC and non-induction. I had heard that, but not from a very reliable source, soi'm gld that you can reassure us first time mummies.
*PS I'm not pg or TTCing at the moment and have been told I can't have a VBAC in future, but you never know
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this responser.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!

Up to when they're walking.
So you should get a few months out of it at least, and it does have a good resale value if you pop it back on ebay when you're done.

I just want to highlight this bit of your post "decide how many days overdue they may let me go (if any) and if not arrived by then, it's straight to a CS rather than induction." 'They' cannot make decisions for you
YOU decide what YOU want to do, 'they' must allow you to make an informed decision (something 'they' seem to forget often!)
There are lots of women who have successful VBACs, I know of a woman who had a home birth after 3 previous CSs. I thin Susan posted some links the other day to some of the many support websites, do visit them I hear good things about them.
its 'just' my opinion but I think something that seems to lead to a successful VBAC is having the self belief and confidence that you can do it:)0
