  • GISI I can understand you not wanting to tell RL people (especially your mum... I know if I told my mum about something like that she would take even longer to forgive than I would, and would keep reminding him of the fact). I don't know what to suggest, other than maybe do scream at him instead of supressing it. Or at least write him a letter before you go off to your mum, hinting that you may or may not be back at the weekend, and making sure he knows exactly how you feel.

  • Hammy, if he's feeding that infrequently then I would probably be tempted to drop the before bed feed first... Give it a week or so, then drop the afternoon one... It would be less stressfull and it would give your boob a chance to settle down so you don't get over full stopping all at once...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Seconded.

If I could drive, I would totally invite myself over to come and help out.

Oo, I got an email from Npower this morning saying that I'm due some of their big refund. :D No idea how much - I only submitted the form on a lark, because I was 75% sure we used Npower for a while back in 2007, but I was only guessing! Now to go use Martin's tax calc thingee to see if we can grab some of that as well, hehe.

  • Thanks redmel. I got him to help make the pasta the other night and it really helped he was interested in all going on. It was cheese sauce but i done some broccoli as well and pretended they were trees for dinosaurs to hide in and he ate some! Trying not to let my food and diet stuff come up as im trying to lose weight and i eat my dinner with them but its hard as im on low carbs. Getting there tho.
  • Kayleigh - well done for perservering, it can't be easy. Hopefully it'll get a bit easier as he gets used to trying them. I've got a great mental image now of his dinner!!!! :)

:rotfl: so are you loving BB4L then? I was waiting for a few reveiws before I use them :)
Welcome back Jillie. Looks like you had a fab time.

Congratulations Always! I am still at the stage where getting pregnant again terrifies, and H is one next week :rotfl:. I suppose I'd better get over it at some point in the not so distant future. I'm very interested in what you find out about VBACs though, as I'd like to try for one but with certain parameters (like I wouldn't want to be induced- if I went over I'd want a section) and since my circumstances are very similar to yours, I will watch with interest.

OMG that is hilarious :rotfl:! I think you add it to Christmas puddings though so you could make lots of those........
GISI, would you not consider not being induced at all?
Do you have a regular cycle that is longer than the 'average' 28days? (you don't have to answer those if you don't want to :)obv)

I stated in my Pg with Edgar that I wouldn't consider induction before 43wks and my MW was really supportive and seemed pretty happy with me being well informed :A She is a fabulous MW and very pro natural birth etc. It was her that first suggested I go for a HB (I totally :heart2: her and will be requesting her if I have #3:cool:)

Redstar - I don't know what you do but would it help if you offer to be available on a mobile phone until 5pm if that is do-able?

I think Sami is right, as always!
  • Well, after the response from my work regarding my request for more flexible hours, I really, really don't want to go back to work after Christmas.:( Looks like I'm on the hunt for a new job, but one that doesn't mind my three month notice period .

Thanks Sami, but apparently not, as I offered that in my discussion when I applied.
