Big hugs GISI, that sounds like a lot to be coping with at once.

  • Thanks lovelies.

Thanks for your offer, Hammy! I am actually off work next week, which I think will help things so I might go and stay with my Mum for a few nights.

  • Hugs GISI. How are things with DH now? If I wasn't poorly I would offer to come down and take H for a bit so you can go back to bed, but you REALLY don't want him to catch my bug. You're welcome to come to ours next week Thursday/Friday while you are off though if you want - let me know :)

  • A few days with your Mum sounds good. Is she aware of everything?

My offer still stands though but I would need to ring my cousin who is going to come and cat/house sit :rotfl:

A question for bf'ers - I am planning on stopping when we get back from our hols. Is it best to just stop rather than cut to 1 feed first?
I don't have any experience (because I waited for Alice to stop) but I imagine if you just suddenly went cold turkey, the engorgement might be painful depending on how much he is having these days so it may be sensible to make it more gradual.

Feeling very :( at the moment. Combination of everything that happened with OH, work stresses and Henry sleeping really badly. I feel like I've got the weight of world on my shoulders and I just want a break.

  • You are all so kind, thank you!

DH is acting like nothing ever happened, and I just want to scream at him. I haven't told any real life people. I nearly told my boss to see about getting some time off but something else kicked off at work so it wasn't really appropriate. The other annoying thing is that because DH got moved because what happened was with a colleague, he has now lost all the goodwill that was previously there around being flexible to help with childcare/help me out. He has to work H's birthday, and it's all his own, stupid fault.
