What are the Xbox points for? Bought ds one for xmas.

It's like a currency where you exchange cash for points and can download stuff.

You can use points to buy extra features for games. The boys traded in some old games and used the cash to buy points as they wanted some new maps and weapons on Call of Duty.

Hope you feel better soon ladybird xx Everyone here except me has had it and they all started to improve after 24 hours.

Jakesmummy - will the sofas come in if you take the doors off. Ours wouldn't go through, but the delivery man had some screwdrivers and took the doors off. He said he often has to do that. Hope the biting issue gets sorted out xx

Som - James is into Halo Wars made by Mega Blocks but it's the same size and fits together with Lego.

Gill - Charlotte liked different types of fabric - satin, fur, velcro, corduroy, ribbon, wool, lace etc. She used to like rubbing them on her cheeks!

She must have gone off Zak from High School Musical now, as she wanted Asamoah Gyan to give her a cuddle in bed this evening. What a tart :rotfl:

My little man isn't happy about something tonight, he keeps moaning and groaning in his sleep :( At least he hasn't woken up though. He had a lot for his tea coz he ate all his kidney bean and butternut squash puree and then managed to get at least half of his half a banana in, and a strip of toast too! Perhaps his digestive system is complaining about it all!

Sami, is this the thread you meant? I remember reading one when T was tiny and the dates look about right on that one.

Morning all, you bunch of idlers! Gone 8am and not a word from the host, I hope this means everyone had a great night's sleep :p apart from poor Ladybird :( whose FB tells me she didn't and is very woefully sick. Get better soon!

Nothing much to say here, waiting in for last piece of bed to arrive this morning. Had set of email exchanges with Homebase customer services ('we aim to respond within 48 hours', 'well you didn't', 'as it's taken us 8 days to reply to you the delivery is tomorrow morning now anyway so we hope you are happy', 'no, what I want to know is why it takes 9 days to get from the warehouse to my address after you've already delayed things over a month', 'oh dear, we're sorry') to no particular avail. Need to nip out for 5 minutes to drop OH and E at toddler group up the hill, bet they arrive at that moment...! I shall leave a note on the door.

One good thing from OH's extra-feeble state is she has warmed very much to my mum again, who has at short notice a couple of times now (incl yesterday) dropped everything to come and spend a whole day at our place when I've been busy and OH has been weak :) very helpful.

    Morning

Insomnia strikes again and been awake hours during the night :(

While everyone is discussing presents, anyone got any inspiration for grandparents?

They're both in their 80's and still quite independent. Gran is has poor vision and struggles reading, doesn't like audio books but can manage with the TV. Grandad is diabetic. They like Rat Pack films and music and some classical music. They've just got a DVD of a violinist bloke playing German waltz's and stuff, but I've forgotten his name. They don't seem into pamper stuff and posh toiletries.

Did a food hamper last year and have bought CD's/DVD's in the past.

Off work again today. Heading into town with Charlotte as I need a new battery for my watch and I'm hoping the man will be at the market as he only charges £2. Got some other errands to run and need to get some groceries too.

Have a good day all xx

    Oooohhhh....

I'm doing my graded unit on assisted conception and one of the things I wanted to mention was the suppliments like B12, that women find useful. Any links you girls have would be great :D

    Tia
, that is really interesting. I wasn't supposed :pto be able to get pregnant after the chemo. About 6 months before conception, I was diagnosed with pernicious anaemia and so have regular B12 injections :D I have no links for you sorry Tia but that is the 1st time I have heard of B12 possible helping conception :A

My boy was back to 10 hours sleep last night :D but the rascal has given me his cold. I have a streaming nose and a wicked sore throat - best now though than next week in Tenerife :j
