So happy for you BM, what a lovely birthday present:)
DH has a motorbike, we went on it last Saturday night....it was my birthday and we went to the MEN in manchester to watch Jean Michel Jarre in concert....an hour journey (each way) as pillion passenger makes for a sore bottom...It just worked out better for us to go on the bike as we could leave later, cheaper on fuel, no parking costs and could park right outside:D
ETA - 3...... Yes, I did know there was a primark in chester!!Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Both my parents and their friends have motorbikes and have had their share of accidents over the last few years, they are all alive thanks to proper motorcycle clothing! I can't believe its only law to wear a helmet!! You do not want to know what happens if you crash without the right gear on
MSE bit: don't crash it costs too much!
Anyways everyone sorry I've been a bit AWOL of late its been mental at home. I'm in the middle of a training course with exams tomorrow (which I really should be revising for at the minute!) DH is opening a new business on the 1st Nov so we've been doing a lot of financial planning, costings and organising for as well as both working so had very little time
Hope everyone is ok, happy birthdays for those I've missed, hugs and claps to all those clever gorgeous babies we have, smack round the head for all the stupid things OH's have done and big hugs for the wonderful parents (& step parents!) on here.:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

And I have seen some stupid people riding bikes with short and t-shirts in the summer!!!!!!! At least they had helmets on eh:cool:
You sound like you have been very busy, did you ever find a job or have you gone back to childminding?? I probably know the answer to this:oUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

If you crash at 30mph on a bike with no protection on your limbs by the time you stop you will probably have lost all your skin and muscles and me down to the bone! That fact alone was enough for me to wear full gear on a moped!
I'm not a registered childminder anymore, there wasn't enough sustainable work for me so I've got a great little job running an ebay shop for 20hrs a week.:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

Then I went to Primark. Was it Tara after sleepsuits? My Primark only had pink striped and lemon, but only had small sizes in. I think they get new stock on a Thursday, so I might go back later in the week.
Were the adults or kids ones? I potentially want an adults one for my carebear costume.....
Buttons - I'm soooo pleased for you :T:j:T:j
Thanks Krystal - looks like he'll be having his SP and broccoli for lunch and his banana for his tea when I can mash and serve immediatelyMummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -

Oh wow fantastic:)
I keep thinking about doing that myself, I am currently trying my hand and cake making....atm I am just doing family and friends to get a portfolio going, and to try out different recipes;) but I hope to sell a few eventually:p
DH has excellent bike gear, cost a fortune and was well researched....I tend to use his cast-offs:cool: the jackets tend to be a little big, but most have velcro and straps so I can tighten it to 'fit' I don't really tend to go on with him much as I always say that if anything happens while we are both on the bike the kids are left with no-one....possibly a morbid, negative way to think, but sensible imo!Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

BM- thats fab :j
takeaway secret has 'mcdonalds' burgers etc, chinese, indian meals, indian takeaway (kebabs etc). For the indian and chinese there are quite a few herbs and spices i dont have so and buying them all next month so we can start trying some of the other meals. DH is very keen to try someof the indian meals. there is a thread on the old-style board where people have tried the recipes even pictures so youknow what might need tweaking a bit. what i like is that the recipes are easy to follow, no picturesbut i dont mind too much lol!!
The book is less than £4 on amazon- i used by amazon voucher from bingoport so get it.
have had a sleep this afternoon after we got back from playgroup. lots of crawling and walking with a push-along so K has been asleep since 5.30ish. DH is cooking tea
