  • Morning all, we have the hv coming out today to do Evie's 6 wk check and then I'm taking her in to work to meet everyone and staying for a spot of lunch.

Kitkat - I think you are doing amazing! I can't imagine not having oh here just to hand E over when she's been whingy and I need a break.

Maz- glad you are all ok after the fire.

Hammy + Becles - hugs for poorly baby, hope he's feeling better soon. I think its only a matter of time before we get sicky bugs here, everyone seems to be getting it at the minute.

Lots and lots of vibes for Amber and family.

If anyone gets a fb request from GP its me!
  • Morning all.
Kitkat - sending hugs. It can be so hard at times, colic or no colic. Like the others said, it doesn't last forever and you will get through it, but in the meantime try and make sure you're getting your own basic needs - ie. try and sleep when you can - don't worry about the house there will be plenty of time for that later, try and make sure you're eating regularly etc, try and have a bath when you can. (Sorry if I sound patronising, but these things can really make a difference).
Becles - hope Charlotte continues to feel better and is back to school tomorrow.
Hammy - poor David, I hope his infection clears up quickly..
MFD - we watched Whites too - who was your friend? I'll be very jealous if you get to go on set :).
SS and Bexta - I really loathe book abuse, I do hope it can be restored.
Tia - I'm thinking of you all and really hoping that Amber is better very soon - I'm sending more get well vibes on their way to you.

Took A to ballet last night for the first time, it was a free trial. Fairly predictably she loved it. They're doing a fairly reasonable offer on classes at the moment, so I think I'll sign her up, although apparently she needs all the ballet clothes to do it . Christmas may come early in our house ;).

Well, feeling a bit grotty this morning, stuffy head, sore throat etc - hope it passes soon....
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
  • Oops and forgot to say - Maz, how scary, I'm pleased you're alright - although I may be a little bit envious of you having the firemen in the house - were they tasty firemen?????

    Morning all :)

(((hugs))) to the poorly boys and girls

Speaking of books, I've just finished one and need to take it back to the library. Caitlyn loves the library - mainly because she can reach to take books off all the shelves! Josh has finished his too so we're going after school.

ewww at the 62 year old on Jeremy Kyle! Is it me or does she look more like 82??

Well, no feeds again last night! That's 2 in a row, so maybe not such a fluke after all? :D I won't get my hopes up though.

    :j Fab!

Maz- I forgot to see how scary that must have been!

I adore books but I am more of a book abuser :o. Books are to be enjoyed in my mind - read them in the bath, I write in them - I enjoy them :p - DH is the opposite and can't even abide creased spines - we NEVER share books :rotfl:

hammy what do you write in them?

I have cried on a few occasions when the boys have chewed or ripped a book :o I'm always telling Chris about children in the 3rd world who dream of having half as many books as him but I think it'll continue to go in one ear and out the other for a few more years before he understands

  • Morning Ladies n Gents

Thanks for the update Tia, popped in and out yesterday for news on Amber.

Didnt read everyones post as I suffered most of yesterday with the most painful migraine ever. It seemed to come to a head at about 8pm last night managed to get upstairs and thought I was going to black out, vision was gone and head was spinning. Anyway I threw up and it was like a pressure release as the pain just went and I could see again. Very scary to be honest.

Maz, seems you had an eventful time. Poor you, must have been very scary.
    CAFC ((hugs))

Get well vibes to everyone who still needs them
