Cheers guys , currently looking after neighbours dog for them. Did our civil duty and gave tea and biscuits to the fireman. House stinks though and the 2 loads of washing I had done today!
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

hugs kitkat - its horrible having an evening like that. I can only send you hugs and assure you things WILL get better. But I know that doesn't make tonight any better.

Has anyone here got any advice they can give kitkat on colic??????

MFD - I forgot to say congrats to your DH on his job! How do you feel being the lowly female with the lesser paid job? :D are you getting much done working from home or are you spending all day teaching Benjamin lovely cute nursery rhymes? :D He is sooo adorable x

Once hubby's wages start coming in all will be fine....at the moemnt it is 5 weeks since I was paid too (gone self employed) so we are less than flush!

I moved into an office (in a bizarre coincidence, with the same company who subsequently employed hubby) last week which is closer to home than I was before but with real people which is much less lonely than working at home! Benjamin has been at the CM all the way through, I can't even begin to work with him in the house, he is far too much fun!!

I have had a terrible evening... I hate colic so so much :( Been on the phone to OH is tears begging him to come home, but its 3 hour drive so pointless.. I always thought that I would have 2 or 3 kids.. now I think I will stick with just the one I couldn't imagine going through this again :(

Sweetie, this is not going to help at all but I promise you that this stage will pass and you will forget about it/it will all fade in the cuteness of toddlerdom (before the terrible 2's come along).

Plus, every baby is so totally different, whatever is happening now is so unlikely to happen again.

((BIG HUGS)) I know it doesn't help but we have all have had the teary phonecalls and gotten through it some way or another.

I have a question on behalf of my sister. Her wee boy is about 4 months old now and having toilet problems. GP has brushed her off, but her instinct knows something is wrong. He's only going once every 12days or so. He's mixed fed. Lactulose is making him drowsy rather than helping with constipation. Prune juice didn't help either.

has anyone been in a similar position?

Thanks Rmac and MFD, think tonight has just got to me; T got himself in such a terrible state screaming the house down, I tried feeding him and he gulped the bottle then choked and screamed more. I couldn't even burp him he was so rigid and screaming then obviously started bringing milk up so choked on that. In the end he had 2 bottles then fell asleep. Going to my mums tomorrow need to get out of this house

rmac your sisters LO sounds like he might have lactose intolerance too, I've heard it can be diarrhoea or constipation as symptoms, my doc kept brushing me off too. 12 days that is ridiculous poor little thing

KitKat...Have you tried a sling, with baby facing outwards...that way the pressure is against his tum. I sometimes only flick back quickly so can't remember what you have tried so far?

I could probably write a llist of suggestions, but you have likely tried them all so /i will wait to hear what you have tried akready...I can also tell you what I did/do!!!
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

Hope D feels better soon xx It's a nightmare hammyhunter. A girl at James school is dairy intolerant and I was talking to her Mam about food for her when James had a party. She said it's easier for her to take a packed lunch with approved foods as so many foods have hidden milk or lactose in. Even things you wouldn't like of, like some sausages! It understandable you might have the odd egg accident.

Thanks Becles. I hope you and Charlotte are feeling better this morning x

kitkat - I hope Theo had a good night and you feel better this morning. Going to your Mums sounds like a great idea.

Tia - hugs for you and Amber. I hope she continues to improve today x

I have no idea how Tia is coping so well. I got scared out of my mind yesterday. D had his allergic reaction but continued to be unwell and his temperature kept on rising. I checked it at 6.30pm and it was 39.8  so we took him to see a doctor. He has an ear infection and is now on antibiotics. :(

I hope all your LO's had a good night!
