Why is it that poos always have to be talked about at full volume - Alice always shouts, "I've done a poo" at the top of her voice even if I'm really close by. I usually tell Alice if I'm making a phone call so that she knows to be quiet. She's very particular about it and often tells me off for making noise when she's talking on her pretend phone too.I had a recorded telephone call to do for work this afternoon. The children were all playing quietly with the train set in the sitting room, so I though I'd sneak into the office and make the phone call. While I was busy, Charlotte wandered through and said in a big loud voice "Maaaaam I'm just going for a poo":rotfl: Just praying that the recording thingy didn't pick that up

I guess that all depends on how much meat is in it though. Were you around for mince-gate?
I missed mince-gate. Ours is scottish steak mince from the butchers. sort of mse as we save on adding flavours and use a little less meat :money:
we're a bold flavours house usually too. Tonight it is chicken, chorizo and king prawn paella yum x
I can't promise that all my replies will illicit this responser.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!

CAFC - hugs. Don't let a HV push you to medication if you don't feel its for you. Yes, she might be trying to let you know that there is no stigma attached to it, and that she can help by making a recommendation to the GP, but you sound like you have a plan and your GP is supporting that. We are here if you want to tlk about it. I'm always available on PM - I've been in a similar position not that very long ago

Oh trust me, she felt the wrath of my belief system.... although I was a bit  at having to explain chiropractic to her...
was trying to explain to her about my understanding of myself, I have a habit of subscribing to a "victim" mentality (justified or not), and that I used to do x,y,z before I was pregnant first time, and then I had just got back to 100% when I fell pregnant with L, and for the past year I have lived in a state of high alert, and neglected certain aspects of "my" life.... and that my plan works on getting those back to where they were...
So its basically diet, exercise, verbalising daily, giving DH a noteable signal about what state i'm in if I cant say it out loud, setting "relievers" for DH to perform (souns dodgy, just realised :rotfl:) dependant on what state/colour my post it note is :A so DH is a lot more involved... and then once DH starts this new job, we're going to look at something I can do thats just me, as I would be able to commit to a set day/time as he'll pick his hours of work, so might be college or something...kitkat5566 wrote: »
CAFC: Wot does your OH eat?! Sounds like a right nightmare to cook for!
I would say dont get me started LOL but the list isnt tha long, he is doing better though...
But yes Weezl we are a potato loving household.... I dont let him have them every night though, although he does notice. He'll eat curries, fajitas, roast, oh sausages are ok.... its mainly coated chicke breasts, varying forms of potato (although hes not a big fan of the jacket LOL), he's getting better with veg, and admittedly he eats fruit, whereas I dont....:A
See why I need help now...My mum used to do oven chips five nights a week.
So did mine, for my sister.... her days off saturday and sunday would involve chip shop chips with grandad on a sat, and roasties on a sunday... poor woman

What are the plans for Es christmas or is a baby sister enough

No major plans honestly! Assorted small-middling gifts like train sets and aquadraws, and I think we will do a small tree (didn't last year when he was too little). OH is adamant that she will not be doing any travelling under any circs for the Christmas season
I must be extreme with my seasonings - off the top of my head, I usually use basil, oregano, black pepper, chilli powder and worcestor sauce in my bolognaise.Me too! Well not those identical herbs/spices, but I do tend to throw in a lot of different things
. But we like big, bold flavors chez Aless.
Alllll about the big bold flavours here, too. Everything Susan uses (except often cayenne vs chili powder) plus beef stock cube, a few garlic cloves and usually a fresh chili pepper. And we use a whole 450g mince for one meal, although with left-overs for Elijah and someone's lunch the next day or so.0 -
Evenin all
Thanks for thinkin bout C MFD. Doc says there is no problem at all. She looked (from a few feet away) through a light thing and said she could see the red reflected easily and then showed me through her light thingy (good description eh?
) and it was very obvious. She said the cancer would grow on the lens and stop the red reflection from the back of the eye if it was there. She was very nice (new doc as usual one was booked up) and was very happy to check for me.
I also asked about AF and she said if she hasn't returned 2-3 months after my last BF would be the time to get checked out. She did remind me to be careful though as I could still get pg and she laughed when I said thats what we were trying to do :rotfl:
Not much else to report here. Continued hugs and best wishes for Tia and family, hope all the other ill people are getting better, dairy free people seem to be doin well with diet etc, hugs for CAFC and Susan, erm...hope Lily proves the docs wrong, congrats on the scan EA (know it's a different Lily but the name reminded me), erm...
General hugs to all xxxMy baby girl :kisses3: September 09 :heartsmil0 -

CAFC, my DH is like yours too. He's so fussy i just want to slap him sometimes.
We just got back from our meal with ILs, Lily got over tired and really hot there and we didn't have the pram to lay her in
She fell asleep on me after many cuddles and ear strokes.0
