    :j clean nappies!

I was thinking about you before, we were at a tea party and Molly was the oldest baby there. The smallest is three months old and she pooped four times in ten minutes and went through her mother's entire changing bag supply  for the last poop we were Macguyvering a size 4 one to fit her weeny legs :rotfl:

It was very loud and hot though and poor Molly had had enough after a couple of hours even with all the attention and playing with the other babies.

Bruno - that website is gorgeous! I think I'd better stop looking. ;)

    Dear PTers,

I've been asked to do another £100 a month meal planner for a family of 4 but this time with an emphasis on a more typical lunchbox for kids to take to school, and more usual british family fayre to eat in the evenings, also with less prep involved than usual. I have very nearly built it and analysed it, but need to make sure there are no big clangers with it.

If that sounds like the sorta thing that might be up your street I wondered if I could ask some more questions about what kinds of things your children will happily eat in their lunchboxes and for evening meals, the fussier the better! I could also show you the beta version of the new planner for your feedback. Sami and aless have already looked, and the more the merrier :)

Pick me  pick me
    please

Doctors have given her a life expectancy of 3 months. :(

But then the clever little girl went and made them  by breastfeeding from Mummy so :p to the dcotors and everything crossed for the family. XXXXXXXXXX

Oh tara - I'm so sorry. But it sounds like she's a fighter.

I hope Amber is continueing to improve. I've been beside myself with worry - and fell like an idiot because I don't actually know her IYNWIM. It's weird how you get so attached to people on here.

HV was non eventful she wanted to discuss my "plan" that i hav agreed with GP as i declined medication, so weird that he was fully supportive and yet shes telling me i need drugs.... to which i replied well gp and i agreed a two week time scale to see how it was going and then change if need be... to which she responded she would rather i see him this week, yet my appt is monday... dont see the point really....so shall stick with what im doing...

L also now has his 8 week check up, as last week with EYP i said he had never been checked as i thought i was meant to get a letter, and HV said today they do it during his immunisations but since you refused them he didnt get one....

    Backward me thinks!!!
Anyway he now has one tomorrow so he'll be weighed etc.....:rotfl:

CAFC - hugs. Don't let a HV push you to medication if you don't feel its for you. Yes, she might be trying to let you know that there is no stigma attached to it, and that she can help by making a recommendation to the GP, but you sound like you have a plan and your GP is supporting that. We are here if you want to tlk about it. I'm always available on PM - I've been in a similar position not that very long ago ;)

Apparently their reward system requires unsubscribing separately from the pregnancy updates. I suppose at least it wasn't a "You're 16 weeks pregnant" e-mail.

    Hello

Grrrrrrrrrr, dh has just called, he was nipping out to the hospital to collect ds2's orthotic shoes and insoles, and then to his mum's to collect his card (don't ask) and his motorbike has broken down:( He is fuming, and wouldn't let me pick him up either, it a a good few miles away too:( He said he'd rather just walk!!! i am so annoyed, I had timed dinner for when he would be due back too so that is now all going cold...I have given the kids theirs and will get them to all booger off while we eat ours in peace later xx That's if I don't have to re-cook any of it, what a crappy thing to happen to him:(

On a positive note my friend has just given me a vtech walker(brand new in the box) and said I can wrap it for christmas for T if I want as she will be 6mths then anyway:D So I don't think I really need to buy her anything else...she will have the walker, a little set of baby books, and Violet:D

    Mel x

    I never use a packet or a jar - here's what I do:
brown mince in heavy pan or casserole dish. Add chopped onions and cook with mince. add a squirt of tomato puree. add some chopped or grated veg (corgettes and carrots are good and hide themselves in the sauce for fussy eaters!). Add tin or two of value chopped tomatoes and bubble away for as long s I can either on hob or in oven. If too thick add some water. if too thin, bubble away with lid off. Sometimes I add a few dried herbs, sometimes I don't! it's yummy :D
I must be extreme with my seasonings - off the top of my head, I usually use basil, oregano, black pepper, chilli powder and worcestor sauce in my bolognaise.

I'm off out again in a few minutes for my third social engagement of the day - this one without Miss M :j

It cracks me up though, once upon a time a drinks party starting at 7pm would have had me at home at 5:30 and showering, doing my hair and putting on makeup ready to leave at 6:45. I threw on some makeup at 6:30 and am ready now but planning to be fashionably late so I can be sure Molly's asleep before I go.
