Hi Susan, at poor Alice getting kicked in the face. Hope your cough gets better and you manage some sleep.

I think little girls look lovely in dresses and ribbons. Despite my mum's best efforts, I always managed to have lopsided pigtails, skinned knees and Norah Batty style tights - not much better now I'm afraid.

SS, I wouldn't worry too much about Molly's walking. Kid's are pretty quick to figure out what the easiest option is - she can walk by herself, she's just figured it's easier if mummy or daddy help.

3 - glad im not the only horrible mum! i have told them that with everything going on this year i think we should have DVDs and sweets for us, obviously thats not a good idea and they would rather be out in the freezing cold!

Just about finished for the night! am exhausted and need to get OH to pick us something up for dinner, the girl from freecycle hasnt turned up and im getting very annoyed at this happening so often :( why say you want it if your not going to turn up??

  • Hi Susan welcome back. Alice sounds like a lovely well behaved girl (well I knew that anyway, but sounds like she's had a fab time and been brilliant) Grrr at rude people - the one time I've been on the tube with Izzy I had to ask the people we were travelling with to let us sit down. It was a bunch of 18 year olds but still....

Just waiting for chips to cook, and DH to finish his mission so he can turn off red dead redemption and we can play Worms instead :)

We do when travelling and I'd planned to this week but have been too busy. Just went to put Miss M to bed and realised that all the bedding (hers and ours) was still in the dryer

I found that the people on the tube were really polite when we took the girls to London last year, I got offered a seat on every train I went on... But maybe that was because I had Caitlyn in the sling?

I hope Alice was OK after being kicked in the face Susan, I do hate that people seem to think it's OK to just swing carrier bags at small child head height, Aimee told me a lady wacked her round the head as she sat down on the bus earlier... But it was OK because the lady said sorry...
