  • I have a vey gumpy girl. Will see how she is after breakfast (she normally as breakfast there). Mothhood it terribe isn't it - I'm weighing in my head the guilt of missing work with the guilt of sending my poorly little girl into nursery when she wants to stay at home [strike]in front of cbeebies[/strike] with me. If nothing else I will have to go in late, but never mind.

I'm not sick, but am sick of having a baby that likes to wake up at 5am every morning. What's he going to do when the clocks change?!

Or else the extra darkness will encourage better sleeping. That's what I'm hoping for.

    Morning

Hope you feel better soon all you sicky and snotty ones xx

    Happy Birthday Buttons xx

Kiera's Gran sounds like mine and I was giggling at your comments.

We've got French Doors in the dining room, which she didn't like and every Christmas dinner she would get up in the middle of the meal and put her cardigan on due to the draught from the doors. They're double glazed PVC ones, and definitely no draught off them!

She didn't think we should have wine at Christmas dinner and she'd try and sneak wine glasses off the table between courses and tip them away and wash them up. Also she didn't think we should have a cheeseboard then coffee and mints, so she would always start clearing the table after the dessert was finished :rotfl:

She also stole all the cracker toys and when she died, we found thousands of cracker toys and paper hats stuffed in various drawers and cupboards.

I miss her and her funny ways :(

Still got the cold bug hanging around here. Got loads of work to do today, but I can't be arsed :o Must make an effort!
Here I go again on my own....
  • Sod this, we are staying at home. There is a bit of a rash, a bit of a temerature and a lot of grumponess. Nursery aren't going to want her ;) Maybe if she lets go of me at all I might treat it as extra tidying up day.

Charlotte was reading a bible and I asked what she was reading. She said it's says "lets say prayers and you must take Charlotte to the farm." I said I'd never seen that in the bible before and she said "oh yes it does say that and you have to do it because the bible says so" :rotfl:

  • Becles that is fab. Do you keep a record of these things somewhere (other than here!) for when she is bigger? She is priceless.
