Sugar I bet you didn't think you'd need today's course so soon!!

I'm not finished yet, just having a break for food as I haven't eaten since breakfast. I ache and I'm tired and I just want my bed but I can't go just yet as I need to finish tonight!

Wilma, what I found worked for me was to read the whole thing first. Then read a paragraph at a time, covering the rest with paper if need be, then writing down the important facts from that paragraph. Move on to the next one.

You do get to a point where you can read it and rearrange the words into your own words, but it does take time.

Remember the brain is a muscle, you aint used it for a while so it needs to warm up first.

Days! I seem to be having full weeks of mind blanks :rotfl: After 3 weeks i can honestly say that i've had only about 4 days of really, really productive work done. And i've tried a LOT more than 4 times to get this done!!

Struggling with my TMA that's due in 3 days time! I am going to fail it as my answers are seriously poop.

Thanks for the link, the OU site is like a minefield there's so many sections that i keep discovering. I'm scared of ringing my tutor lol will prob feel better once i've met him at the tutorial in a few weeks. Which i am highly intimdated by because everyone in my group is seriously techy and seriously clever, you should see the convo's they are having on the forum, *whooooooooooooooosh* over my head.

Thanks tia i am just finding it hard to put things into my own words, i must have a serious lack of...something... articulate....ness? SEE?????

We have been to SIL's for a haloween party, it was lovely. But is makes me v  when niece doesn't care that I spent time and love teaching her child a new word (she now says 'preee-teeeee').

I suggest that every mother and father cherishes every new word that their baby speaks and it appalls me that some members of my family don't appear to care

Benjamin loved the fireworks and at the end of every one said 'gone? pretty? gone?' :D

thanks again everyone i am exhausted but my head is spinning, he seems fine and is now eventually back in bed.

trying to keep calm over today and i also have an app with the doctor from the crazy hospital tom morning which im very nervous about. Luckily my lovely counsellor is coming with me as she knows what im like :D They are going to look into changing my tablets again as i have an itching reaction to it, my doctor basically told me to keep taking them and that itching was nothing comapred to how i felt a few weeks before! they are also looking into something to help me sleep as nothing they have given me so far works?

They all find this hilarious as im really bad for not taking tablets and paracetamol work for me as i rarely take anything! sorry for the rambling im very nervous/wound up and need to calm down a little??

On the plus side i have another riding lesson tom so hopefully i wont fall and wont be so sore when i get home!

My baby has sqealing down to a tee at the moment so I will do you an exchange if you fancy it?

I have also had to slap his hands a couple of times this weekend because he has been playing with the oven. I am not a physical punishment mummy most of the time but the oven and fire are my 'danger' points which deserve shock treatment :(
