OMG Caz you must have been proper panicked! Hope the wee fella is OK now. Will you need to keep checking on him in the night like Weezl did with Fergie?
My roast dinner was a-may-zing. Apparantly happy corn fed chickens do taste better, who knew? Asda are doing 25% off everything in their extra special range so it made it actually cheaper to eat a happy chicken than a smart price chicken! Not a huge amount of meat on it though, or maybe we are greedy gannets?
I dont work for Asda, honest. I realise this is the second time I've bigged them up today, I officially need to get out more. Good job I've just been asked to organise a surprise dinner for my friends birthday then!Mummy to

quickly back on, Charlie is absolutly fine although he does say it is sore. The hospital was a complete joke and i ended up leaving, 2.5 hours from entering until the triage actually looked at him. He has no contact with any staff from entering until that point. He began to perk up after a while and when i asked if there was somewhere i could get him something to eat i was pointed to a sweetie machine!!
Staff were not interested so when in triage i asked if they would actually do anything to which i was given a blank look. I told her i was going to take him home as it had now been 3 hours and he was needing to have his dinner and be put to bed. she told me it was up to me so i left.
He is obvioulsy fine as he had some dinner and is nowjumping on his bed? he also told me i was a baby! i guess he is fine. I did get a huge fright and even the ambulance men looked shocked!
thanks for thinking of us and i think i am going to collapse in a heap somewhere
ETA when i asked if i should check him through the night she shrugged her shoulders!! obviously i will be checking him and i think i will use the other hospital in future! What's for you won't go past you0 -
Caz, what we were told today was that after a head injury you should look at the child every couple of hours for the following night and make sure they're wake-able and responsive.
Sounds terrifying, and I hope you're all ok.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Hi Gill,
Have you had a good day?
So Wigan primark has one style of fleecy babygrow. Aqua in colour with white arms and black paw prints on them and a dog motif on the left breast. They had about five in sizes 12/14 & 16/18. Also had other all in ones, with no feet, not fleecy in grey, with white spots and red with white snowflakes. Not very carebearish i'm afraid. I did ask if they were getting any more in, but met with blank stare and shrug!0 -
If he had been drinking and fighting he obviously would have been first in the que! but i thought a child arriving in an ambulance with a head injury would be a priority?? obviously not over something major but definatly over drunks who have been fighting?
I may need some help with a letter if you wouldnt mind, the amount of time without anyone to check him was just awful. am off to lie down so speak in the morning xxxxWhat's for you won't go past you0 -
OW poor charlie, and what an appalling hospital caz!!! I hope he is fine overnight:)
Ouchie to CAFC for a sore pelvis area!! I have done EXACTLY the same thing only a few weeks ago, the lightbulb hadn't gone I just didn't bother turning it on.....and I saw our ghost cat, which put me off!
Gill - I hope the christening went well, i'm sure you all had a lovely day though:D
I have been uber productive, I bathed the kids, did the dishwasher and washing machine, washed the bottles, plastered the kithchen doorframe and then scrubbed the whole kitchen floor on my hands and knees......phew, I was sweaty and shattered but I have had a lovely hot shower and I am now poking dh regularly until he makes me a cuppa hahahaxUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
How did the christening go Gill?

PM'd you , but it's obviously too late now!
Caz How scarey! Give him hugs from us (if he can stop bouncing about for long enough!)
Hi & Bye Jillie.
Gill Did you have a good day?, and did you get lots of pics?
And thats all I can remember.......:o
We had roast dinner earlier, i'm starving now.
I took the three horror-bags to the park earlier and stayed out for as long as possible in the freezing cold so OH had some chance of sleeping. We did manage to find 173 conkers.
I'm going to go to bed shortly. FB is still being weird, and my laptop is being all slow and silly despite me running a scan earlier (clear) and deleting cookies etc?!?:beer:0
