I had the worst nights sleep ever, my skin was on fire, my scalp, back and legs, the only thing I can think of, is that I used el cheapo smartprice shampoo at my mums house and that's it. I have made myself bleed I was scratting so much.

:hello: dt1 :) How are you and Oscar these days? And DS1?

Sorry, had to go and have a good cry:o. We are fine ty, Oscar has been referred for speech therapy (i thought it was to early, i think it was weezl-Fergie who had said an rough age for what they should be able to manage?)I think as he is so late with his eating this is why he has comunication problems. He can still only say mum to everything.
DS1 is in a much better place at the moment and has jumped feet first back into the dating scene:eek:.

    How are you and rhys?

:mad::mad: BIL and FIL turned up, unanounced on a SUNDAY (BIL is Christian and will not do anything remotely work like on a Sunday) to hand a door. I was plastering the ceiling trying to get it finished and they just barge in, barge me out the way and start fannying about with thios bloody door RIGHT WHERE I WAS TRYING TO PLASTER! I wanted those bits done while it was light and I could see.

Then when I give up and start washing out the stuff in the bathroom, I can hear FIL !!!!!ing but can't quite make out what he is saying.

Now I've to go out and have to wait on them going, which will be ages!:mad::mad:

Then they told DS1 to get downstairs... in my bloody house! They were fine when I was plastering, they only sit and watch !!!!!!!

I know... they are helping us out (at their insistance we were just going to get folk in to do it all) but since I was already doing stuff that needs done (the door can wait, plastering can't) it's not bloody helping is it?:mad::mad:

And Chris just wet himself. Bloody brilliant.

Corn fed roast chicken with roast spuds, yorkshires, sausagemeat stuffing and veg? Thats whats going down here :p

Cant link to the coat, it is indeed a lady coat though!

Ha that reminds me, when our uniform gets delivered at work it says "lady skirt" and "lady blouse" and "man tie" and "man shirt" on the labels, in case people are too stupid to know the difference between ties going on men and blouses going on women!

    Hi all :)
We've been to the Baby Show at Earls' Court. Thanks to JM *ahem* a friend I know very well in RL, we had a free ticket, but we bought another so we could both go and with E. I will just be abusive about the parking - it's free parking in that area on Sundays but of course always very busy, so after 10 mins driving around hopefully and seeing nothing we decided we'd better go for the venue car park. £15!! And cash only, which they didn't tell you til you were 5 minutes into a barely-mobile queue of cars with no good way to turn round.
And then the walk from car space to exhibition front door was 10 minutes. Madness.

Event was pretty good for what it is though, OH had fun roaming entering competitions and collecting freebies, I bought collection of new baby things like moses baskets and snowsuits and so on where I saw good deals. I let Elijah run free for about 45 mins, and visited a few of the free play areas set up by Tomy and Vtech and Fisher-Price etc, before putting him in the free creche there.
I admit to being very anxious, he's never previously been left anywhere with someone he didn't know, at all, even for a few minutes. Only babysitters have been family, and so on. But he coped pretty well, not even any tears when I left, although when I picked him up an hour later he did rush and cling to me shouting "Dadden dadddddddden cuggles UP" in a woeful voice til I picked him up.
Annabel Karmel was doing a 'seminar' on baby nutrition when we walked past the stage but who has the patience for such things really.

Overall quite good although between ticket, parking, and shopping I feel brutalised in the wallet now. OH was immobile by the end and I had to leave her guarding our mound of goodies while I got the car, she has now collapsed under duvet with hot water bottle. Elijah was shattered too, but his 3-day old obsession continues after he went down for his nap with a good 40 minutes of cycling the soothing seahorse before accepting sleep...

Tia, that's completely infuriating. DH should control his family better!

KK, it sounds like maybe OH is sloooowly on the right path :/ you need more breaks and assistance.

Caz, yaaay for a "good" night's sleep :D so important! Keep it up :p
Ah, meet away then :) Anyone want to meet me in london on a weekend, Thursday or Friday?

It's not totally impossible... I do live in London obviously but no guarantees here - but if a London meet happens I will definitely be paying attention.

Oh ETA - saw this stall at the Baby Show (among many), they have a very amateur website (I think the company is just 'a couple of ladies' who like to make stuff) but I thought the wooden toys and such on their stall were really nice and mostly good prices, so in case anyone wants to see (could be some good baby gifts there) it's https://www.snugger.net

We're good ta :) Rhys still doesn't say any proper words either - seems I say "mummy" enough for the both of us! We last saw his general consultant in August and she noted it but wasn't "too fussed" (her words!). Not sure if we've been forgotten about or if they're just giving us a break but we haven't had many development type appointments for quite a while. I'm not worried, he is making a noticeable effort with "vocalising" but just slow to come out with a complete word. Only time he's quiet is when he's asleep (like right now ;)).

We have the first physio app in a month planned for Tuesday but I think I'm going to cancel it. I've got a funeral to go to on Wednesday so have to switch my work days around so might be working on Tuesday ;) He's not walking, which is ultimately what she wants to see, so save her the effort of coming out to sigh at me and give me a lecture! :p

Good for DS1! Just hopes he finds someone much nicer next time :D

And how are you doing? Do you still have the childminder? Still doing you good? Hope so xx :)

I was enjoying just being classed as a total loon.... told DH (by text this avo) to buck his ideas up and i'll have PND if ive got PND as its not a piggiin choice ive made, but my choice was to try and deal with it, and ask for his support...goober!
