  • Pp, I sincerely hope you are not buying them anything this year! And maybe next Feb would be appropriate for your next visit!

We are off to a Halloween party later so I might not be in until tomorrow.

I said it must be almost a full Moon on Friday night since my kids and the kids at the youth group were MENTAL!

DribbleKitten, Ambers fell off in chunks over a few weeks (breast feeding and I was taking antibiotics for mastitis which stops the cord decomposing (which is how it comes off, it rots off basically)). It looked nasty and yucky but the GP siad to just keep it clean and dry but not to put any powders or creams on it. ;) It was rank though.

SM, cheers :coffee: is good :D I'm looking at carpets. Debating doing a bit of plastering or leaving it till tonight?

So we visit the inlaws this weekend and MIL hasnt seen LO since February and LO walks in and says 'hello Lady'! and I just couldnt bring myself to correct her. Anyway there is a box in the living room and SIL said whats in there....MIL gets all huffy and starts having a go at her and when I looked its the Christmas presents we bought them last christmas still unopened! It was a planned visit too! On a better note I got my Chrissy pressy from OH - a pandora bracelet with some charms :)

My mum is slightly weird, every year she buys my grandad presents and wraps them, but she never gives them to him. When i say 'Can i open these?' (to use as its usually bath sets and i love mens stuff hehe) she always says no, even though she will throw it out in 2years ranting about him :rotfl:

Avk, we were in town letting DS1 soend his birthday money, sitting in Burger King (yack!) when his work calls. He should have started at 4.30 but they aks him to come in early so he could cover part of this other guys run since his wife is getting home today (she had a baby). So we rush away back to the car and he then tells me that the written warning he got a couple weeks ago was for doing the same thing, covering a shift but not putting paperwork through. Last time the same controller (assistand manager) arranged it but ofcourse it was DH that got his !!! kicked.

Then he starts telling me about the folk he is covering for. He can't take paternity because he can't afford it. She made a lot more money but decided she wanted a baby even though all their money is going on debt.

So basically my hubby is riking his job because a woman couldn't wait a year to clear her debts so her husband could afford to take paternity leave. It's not like me to be judgemental on parents but I find it so irresponsible to have not thought about how she is getting home if he is still working?

And I'm annoyed at DH for being so stupid as to agree to a bit of dodgy shiftyness AGAIN just after he got a written warning! I tell you, if he looses his job I'll be finding out where they stay and yelling a lot.

    /rant.

Bit selfish but hey, it's a full moon and I have PMT.
