See I had a bit of an issue here - WEEZL, take note! - I stuck the onions in a pan at the bottom of the oven whilst I was cooking my pie and my wedges. But it says to turn continously....but I didn't want to keep disturbing my pie, so I turned a couple of times but no more...

    They are very yummy though!
thanks MFD :) ace real user feedback! so on the onion hummus, I should say if she's using the oven for other stuff then no need for constant supervision of onion?

there are 15,000 unique users now according to google :o so I try to get it right!

yey:jI was so scared of getting a soggy bottom (teehee) but it was perfick - fab recipe isn't it!

I'm wanting hummous now, I have a jar of Very lazy onions in the fridge and costco have tins of chick peas 12 tins of natco brand for £3.49 anyone know is that good?
asda rarely beat 29p a can so that sounds good sami :)

dried ones work out a tiny bit cheaper, at 19p per 100g dried, which when soaked and boiled raises by a 2.6 multiplier, and 260g is the net (drained) weight of a can, but this is more faffy obviously! So go for it say I :)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker

Can anyone recommend a nice toy vacuum cleaner? H is obsessed with ours and BIL wants to know what he wants for his bday so I thought that might be good.
Joe used to have a dyson toy vacuum, he
Loved it. Not sure were it was from as it was given to us. When swirched on little balls wizz around to look like its picking stuff up.

I need to pack Joes stuff, but could do with Alex having a little nap, so i can do it without his "help".

That would do it, or just turning occasionally, constantly turning my onions seemed at odds with cooking my pie.

I am a bit :( Benjamin was in a dirty nappy too long and now he has a really sore bottom :(

  • I've just caught up !!!

Just wanted to say I haven't thought of this thread as cliquey whatsoever. I came looking for advice on bf and got the most wonderful non judgemental support, it got me through a really difficult time and was so helpful. I don't post all the time but read every day and there's always something to make me smile or a situation I can empathise with and make me realise that I'm not a terrible mother and that we're all just trying our best!

    Anyway, as you were.....

Might not be workable in your bathroom, but what about putting up a small handle, or getting her to hold on to the sink if it's near etc. I know my little girl feels much more secure if she is holding something. Our toilet is kind of in an alcove so she can hold the wall either side iyswim.
