  • Ah - I pity your poor husbands if they can't even give you their socks as a gesture of love!

Off to bed for a cuddle. The problem with having dinner with the kids at the weekend is that I am starving by bedtime! We normally eat about 7.30pm-8pm but we eat as a family at 5pm on a Sat/Sun. My mother asked what we were having for 'supper' earlier, we generally don't - do any of you?

    ETA - hiya becky!!

I tried giving her a cup of milk - she dribbled three mouthfuls down herself and then carefully shook all the milk out of the cup onto the floor :o :rotfl: :o

have you tried a doidy cup?, jack would never take out of a sippy cup and struggled with a regular beaker but had a doidy cup quite happily from 6 months

som 37.4C is average body temp, it varies a bit by method of taking temp and some people are generally a bit colder/warmer than others

Thanks her last temp was 35.9 so will keep an eye on her.
Som - I used Weezl's recipe but I used roughly a third of a red, yellow and green pepper (using up leftovers) rather than just red.

    Good old Cfr ;) thanks.

ermm, all I can suggest is distraction then (or a spot of nesquick in the milk ;) :silenced:)

a little birdie just told me supernanny suggests a pillow between baby and yourself when co-sleeping to stop them latching on by themselves - me thinks she is assuming we're weaning tiny babies not walking/crawling top lifting tots!:p Edgar wakes me by smaking me around the head with the BF pillow and lifting the duvet/my top :rotfl:

  • Thanks Meeps and BloomingFreezing. She uses the school loos Ok as they are designed for small children. When we are out she either uses the toddler seat or potty (potty has recently "been given to another child who needs it"). I'll try a stool to see if that builds up her confidence otherwise its the toodleloo.
