:( Wee Beastie is crying, Husband is soothing her, but I do not want to go in there. At the moment she's been feeding 3-4x a night  obviously it is just comfort feeding but I want it to stop, but as soon as she realises I'm there she agitates for boob and it is easier to latch her on than try to distract/stop her. Short of sleeping on the sofa till she realises there's nothing doing, how can I wean an almost 15 month old stubborn monster off millions of night feeds?
    (and millions of day feeds?)

Sounds like a case of some tough love coming up. :( I watched a Supernanny about this, think the mum just had to ignore the crying for a couple of days. Think you'll need some advice from others who've been through it. :A

My lil bro is in India. He arrived Wednesday and has so far visited a home for blind kids and went into the mountains to help with volunteer work. He's a wee star.

So, Cristmas lady *looks at SS* ideas for my lil bro? Chef, works hard, plays hard and has a soft as butter heart? Likes his travelling every second year.

I think he would appreciate a donation type gift? And a little something or other.

SS Lewis was like this and was a nightmare, in the end i had to stop feeding him and went away with my sister leaving him with her! sounds awful and it was but at the time there was no other way!

my sister has this week stopped giving DN his bedtime bottle and for the first time in 19 months he is sleeping through the night!

I think the key is here hun. It is easier at that moment but in the long term she has established a dependency that really isn't needed.

Do you sleep naked? Start sleeping in a top for a while. Tough it out. It will be MUCH better in 3 days of consistent trying, I promise!!!

At the moment she has no hope of learning to sleep through, you need to help her to learn what she is capable of xxxx
