I was going to say, house cats would be much more inexpensive, but not if you have mine :rotfl:

Its always scruffy that is getting broken isn't it? Does he not know when you fight you close your eyes and just randomly punch? It's like a rule....
Clearly not! His mouldy face cost me £140 the first time, then £70 the second time, then Scrappy got a abcess in his armpit which cos me another £70, and now Scruffy's eye has cost me another £120 so far and the treatment isnt over yet! Aaaaand Scruffy is the one that cant eat cheap food, I spend £36 every 6 weeks on a epic bag of food, their insurance is £16 a month!
Aaaaaaaaand, I did flea treatment on them all, the proper one from the vet, cos I was worried about the house getting infested now the heating is on, and the other two have took it fine but the spot on seemed to have burned a hole in Scruffy's neck, so it would seem he's allergic to that too and will probably end up having to pay for treatment for that, cos he's having his eye checked Tuesday!

I was just saying to OH yesterday, that cat is *very* lucky he ended up with loving owners. If some random chav had bought him on a whim he would blatantly have been dumped somewhere.

I think GISI is doing a builders convention to Ikea. Was wondering when?

MFD, when I caramalised the onions yesterday, I was eating them out of the pan! :o

See I had a bit of an issue here - WEEZL, take note! - I stuck the onions in a pan at the bottom of the oven whilst I was cooking my pie and my wedges. But it says to turn continously....but I didn't want to keep disturbing my pie, so I turned a couple of times but no more...

    They are very yummy though!

I put them in my Wok and just kept turning them over every few minutes. That was the problem, every few minutes I ate a bit more.

Did find a recipe for doing them in the slow cooker.

Bahaahaaaa I just changed Miss M's nappy after what I thought was an epic poop.

It was just a fart, but such a powerful one that she ripped a hole in the nappy liner.

    Impressive pumping :rotfl: :rotfl:

Going to stay with parents in law and will be visiting London to see BIL/SIL and new niece and see the changing of the guard. ALso hoping to get to the hundread acre wood.

Hope you have a lovely holiday. Looking forward to hearing how Alice enjoyed it xx

But I am massively pro-giving blood and it very straight forward, takes less than an hour and I think everyone who can, should! :D

I keep trying, but I usually fail the iron test at the beginning :o
You know what, one of my "friends" from school had 1 blue eye and 1 green eye, she reminded me of that dog from Blue Peter :rotfl: :D

My collie Sam had a brown eye and a pale blue eye. The blue eye was patterned and it looked like it had a star in it. It was really pretty as far as eyes go.

Chocolate: I forgot to post this yesterday! Look out for Luxury Chocolate Mis-shapes in Home Bargains. They are in a clear bag with a brown "label" printed on. It's Thorntons Continentals and they only cost 99p for a 350g bag :money:

*hugs* to all the lurkers and long lost lovlies - hope you post some more xx
Here I go again on my own....

    The pie was lovely :D

TBH I am not good a following recipes :o so this is what I did:

    - weighed the onions
    - just took a hunk of chicken (more than stated probably....well definitely)
    - added the stated amount of flour and stock.
    - sauted some chopped mushrooms in some stock and added them in.

I made the pastry with a mix of sunflower and olive oil and it was good!

It held together as a pie when I lifted it out of the pyrex dish :j:j:j my first time ever!!!!

The boys ate with gusto, but it was very filling! I have 3 pieces in the freezer!

I also made caramelized onion hummous and roasted pepper hummous (using 3 colours of pepper) and the roasted pepper one was gorgeous!!!
yey:jI was so scared of getting a soggy bottom (teehee) but it was perfick - fab recipe isn't it!

I'm wanting hummous now, I have a jar of Very lazy onions in the fridge and costco have tins of chick peas 12 tins of natco brand for £3.49 anyone know is that good?

WM is a great mum, I couldn't cope with what she does.

OMG - if I knew her IRL (other than the one time I have met her when I nearly stole Alex from her he was SO delicious!!) then I would struggle to hold my tongue near her inconsiderate hubby!!

But he does contribute to beautiful kids....

LOL - my mother was FB messaging me telling me to 'give DSS 5 mins more' before he went to bed!!! He stays up til 9.30pm, later if we have guests or his nan has him, which I think is fine for a 10 year old (he goes straight to sleep after reading his book for a few mins and doesn't wake until nearly 8am)
